I think no matter who you are or what ever music you’re into your instantly drilled into johns presence and the way he distributes he’s style of playing music. He created that style of playing. Just like Hendrix created he’s own style back in the day. They make it look easy aswel. Like they were only born to do that. 😇
@omardcastrod

@@barrypinney6723true! John really has that quality. I enjoy listening to anyone that gets lost in their playing, and it’s just them and guitar. You know who does that to me as well has always been Kurt Cobain. Listen to all of his acoustic work, especially since they put out they put it those “Montage of Heck: Home Recordings” where it’s just him playing, but for me ALL those old acoustic recordings have that same effect that your talking about. The long version of “Old Age” is probably my all time favorite. In a different way, Jim Morrison does for me as well from a lyrical standpoint in that spoken word album, of which, interestingly enough from my understanding the music was added posthumously.

I agree…rhcp is more surface mainstream level, radio friendly…but his solo works actually make you think about life ..btw how’s the guitar playin going again?
Gênio, gênio e gênio. A essência do que um músico precisa ser se resume nesse cara.
So emotional !
Such clear sentiment, such ambience. One man, one guitar. Brilliant!
Happy birthday john
I feel so happy for John right now, back everything he does 100% and I feel he is really beginning to come into his own as a solo artist now, he will clearly go down as one of the great minds along with Hendrix, Robert Johnson, Beethoven, Da Vinci...the list is endless.
I'd give anything to listen to his solo stuff live..
Happy Valentines Day John.
Just learned how to play this song. Super fun to play along to!

Otimo John, Parabéns pela sua virada na vida, sei onde você chegou, 'no fundo do poço' mas hoje está ai nos mostrando como é importante viver. Parabéns. Geat John
He is the man. One of my all time favorite song writers and guitarist.
The way he says "happy Valentine's day" 😍 makes me melt every time 💕💕💕❤
Nice! Beautiful song! :)
I prefer this version more then the studio one. So good
he is so awesome!!! I love this song so much!!
Just wow...the emotions are so amazingly reserved and released in this one...🤟🏻🤟🏻

Emre Tamer personally i appreciate him much more outside of rhcp, not saying that I prefer josh in replacement to him, but the music he makes outside of rhcp is so amazing and i think he's doing what he loves whereas he wasnt happy in rhcp ygm

Absolutely one of my favorite songs.
i watch this every year on valentine's day
Man, I miss this pure-and-beautiful Frusciante...
great song, unbelievable lyrics like usual, so happy this video exists
wasn't so sure about frusciante's voice when i first heard his solo stuff, but now i really love it, hes kinda got that deep singin voice which is unorthodox, yet he can go really high pitched.
I love the way he "moves" his mouth when he plays and sings, you know, like the mouth he makes at 1:57 - 2:02 if you know what I mean. So cool!
O maior artista vivo na terra !
Beautiful man! I love his music
I agree. This is a great live version of this song. John is amazing.
Zajebisty kawałek...
Maravilhoso!!!
I have listened to this and the offical video several times a day for the past two weeks ,it's so moving
So good. Best version of this song
I’m pretty sure this song is about Eckhart Tolle’s book The Power Of Now. Or at least he is singing about something very similar the book talks about.
beautiful song, john frusciante has to be my fav guitarist, hes just amazing
great tune great record!!!!thanx for posting
Amazing...he was just going out from hell...
Really? I think this performance is awesome. He looks like everything around him just disapears and its just him, his guitar, and the music. I love how much he gets into it. The more the artist gets into their music, the easier it is for me to get into it also.
love this man.
Omg thanks for this 💓
Valentines Day 2001 for a Canadian radio show. Forgot which radio though.

Much music used to be pretty good.
He's playing it fast so there's less time until his next hit.
rhythm in his blood... my fav. song !
So raw, simply amazing!
Is it just me or does he really sound like an angel at 2:28 ?
