The conviction per note in this piece is of an extremely high degree such that it immediately puts the listener in the midst of a unique pain, when in reality that pain is barely scratching the surface of some greater unbearable pain that was thought unable to overcome, but that the maker of this piece did. Thinking hope lives folks.

I know what you mean all to well, but I think that’s mainly because it sounds so bittersweet. The best songs usually do. The ones that really touch you. They start with despair, run you through a range of emotions, then lift you up in the end, filling you with hope. I think it’s a perfect formula. One well worth repeating.

@@DirkjeA Thank you. So many people think the Blues is about sadness. It’s actually the opposite. It’s about lifting you up out of your sadness. Either by talking about it, getting it off your chest, or living in the moment. Having fun right now, because you can. You might not be able to later, but you can right now. Or at least that’s what Chicago Blues is all about. It’s ever present here. An essential element like air and water. Lol. ✌️

I had a similar experience but on mushrooms, i stared into the night sky looking at the stars and i felt like i started to fly out there without my body! What a trip :)

Wow this song and the Stars right now is all I need. The energy from the pain you can feel in this song is power. Love is a very crazy thing. You can get high and chase a dragon sure...to have another look you in the eyes and see you for you and just exist, to just bee. That's a different kind of understanding. What a beautiful soul he print in this music... I almost taste the pain with fate within the lyrics...

I could listen him play all my life.

The way he comes in with that clean Strat that sounds like it’s being played with some $20 practice amp. But he hits the bends and pulls so perfectly clean, it sounds great.

Pensaba en todas aquellas canciones que lo acompañaban, y recordaba que el hogar no se podía situar en una construcción física e irrelevante, al final del camino el hogar estaba en cada uno de esos instantes donde la música sonaba y conectaba con algo que sería indescifrable para el resto de su vida terrenal, pero más que perfectamente legible para esos momentos de conexión dentro de aquella rutina bucle que tornaba la vida por momentos.
