Frankenheimer would have to go down as one of America's best directors. I consider seconds as his best but I know most people consider Manchurian candidate as his best.

I knew the limb broke story was going to be good when he said Robert Newton playing off John Agar were the two main characters!
The last movie 🎥 he directed was Reindeer Games

This might be his best film. Lansbury was utterly excellent. The remake was pretty bad.
