John Feldmann is soooooooo real, bro. Love this guys and his attitude - write, write, write, produce, produce, produce every day. The 10,000 hour principle! Thanks for sharing this great interview.

I’d be cool if producers like him had opportunities to produce a few songs of bands or musicians he liked if they were sent a demo . I feel there is a massive hurdle to start off in making the right connections and being able to pay big bucks for a decent producer and recording environment. I was set back like ten years due to health issues and have albums I’m about to record and would rather get gear on my own than pay people with little experience working on music I enjoy have full reign on how I end up sounding and also don’t rub shoulders with anyone that could help pass the music along . Even if you get gear and do it all on your own w your own time, you still need people around to get the word out . I see many people doing things on their own not realizing the point isn’t going solo, it’s having passionate people willing to make moves with you

Went back to listen to the first 2 albums from 5 Seconds of Summer since I haven't given than a proper listen to since high school... not only did I re-add some of the songs to my playlist, but I didn't realize until this week Good Charlotte has some writing credits on "Sounds Good, Feels Good" (I remember looking at the credits back in 2015, but back then I didn't really listen to Good Charlotte because I all I knew my mom listened to them 🤣🤣) Anyways, all this to say thank you - not only for the initial video but for keeping this up so I could come back and relisten and write down the other bands to check out. 😊
