maria, in my humble opinion a very wise ,perceptive comment ,it's a sort of aussie version [that people can latch onto ] of spreading the presence and mind of god [haven't quite figured out who god is but in my book he's a top bloke and also does a bit of fishing and doesn't mind sharing ,{as crocodile mick dundee so shrewdly put it .i bet strop had something to do with that ,for the american market }] .it's totally understandable why we regard him as more than a bloody good singer .he's a patriot and has earned our love and respect . and we listen when he speaks . like with his drought/fire appeals . one of our best . and that band .they were more than a band .they were on a mission .

I have had the great pleasure of seeing John Farnham LIVE, several times. One time errrr in Perth, from memory, back in the 80s America's Cup sort of timing. POWER!!! OH MY GOD. That's back when he had that main of hair and all the 👭 were NUTS ABOUT HIM. 👌, I admit it, AS WAS I. Geez I danced the whole ⌚ I can't quite remember the venue name? I lived in Scarborough Beach 🏖 back then and worked in Alan Bond's Observation City Resort or whatever it was called. A lot of years ago. I learned to scuba dive in Perth. We used to walk out with our tanks at Hillarys, apparently it's all developed, right along the coast now. Not back then. That was pretty much the end of suburbia. Sigh.....this popping up today after my grandfather passed away on Friday night is rough. John was his absolute favourite musician.

My mother has COPD....Why should she be forced to wear a mask making it difficult for her to breathe, when young health people are treating her poorly for not wearing a mask ? Why should I have to? I'll take my chances and I'm far from healthy....Who are these people who think their worries should be owned by me or my problems owned by them for that matter ?...More people are killed by sugar every year than by viruses, yet the government doesn't stop people from having sugar.....The whole argument is rediculous.
