John Farnham is one of a kind, that's for sure. His range is AMAZING!! He's the complete package. A versatile singer, but a beautiful human being, and a brilliant sense of humour too. Us Aussies adore him.

If you remember it was John that helped Human Nature with “Every time you cry”​ from the Anthology volume 1. Which sent HN into the stars they would become. @@TheCharlieSmithChannel

The four chaps are Human Nature, an Australian pop group who were huge in Australia in the early-mid 90s and then transitioned into a Motown group and have had a successful Las Vegas residency since 2016.

Hey Charlie, our fabulous boys Human Nature had a Las Vegas residency for 11 years from 2009 to 2020 when they decided to come home to Australia as they all have families now. This performance was to celebrate the AMAZING John Farnham's 50th birthday and what a treat it was. Thank for reacting to it. Once again a magnificent performance by John and the boys!!!

Growing up with John Farnham on the radio, I spent 40 years thinking that’s just how a middle of the road pop singer sings. Then KZread and the voice coaches had Farnsey thrown at them and you all told me what I had been overlooking and taking for granted all this time.

❤❤John has just recovered from a serious illness and apparently he is still singing in the shower, awsome bloke🎉🎉

64 year old song - quality always prevails. The thing about John's songs are that each one is different. So many artistes find a style, or a type of song, that works for them,, and is a hit, and then they often do not stray far from that. My take aways from this reaction Charlie. John not only sings his face off as you said, but can also sing his pants off apparently haha. Under exposed not underrated. Well he was a little over exposed in this one . But I love that idea for some merch. And even though I have listened to John sing the same songs over and over again, so many times....it's still a surprise everytime, as to just how much range and power is in his voice. That's why we are still such huge fans even after 50+ years. Especially when we listen to some of his stuff from his younger days or when he was in his late 60's/70's. I haven't listened to this one for a while and it blew me away yet again. It's so cool watching other people react to it for the first time. It's like watching it through new eyes. Hi Charlie Smith. Google says - John Farnham Live at The Regent. 1999 (when he was 50). With Human Nature. Not seen this before, must be my birthday (again!). Thank you ❤. (I shall have a search, see if there's a whole show video out there somewhere.). So sad to think that he was silenced by firstly the covid pandemic shutdown and then long extensive surgery for oral cancer. The universe can be very unkind at times. But he's now cancer free, vocal chords not affected, singing round the house. And there was a post on another channel that said there is a lot of unreleased material. So could we hear more new Farnsey in days to come? . Feb'24. UK. E❤.

Having listened to most of them now, it has made me appreciate, as an Aussie, how much I took for granted that in the 80s/90s it felt like we could pretty much go and see him whenever we wanted and whilst we always knew he was good I really had no idea just how good....

He’s was singing in the same range in his 70’s! It’s only been recently that he has retired due to oral cancer. 😢

The power that John has is demonstrated by where he holds his mic. It was about chest high for the majority of this song. Great reaction, loved it all, even the bare legs bit. Also Human Nature as usual are great.

There are many more famous singers but word for word, note for note, line for line, none match him in all qualities like range, power, tone, agility, versality, consistency, accuracy, stagecraft, clarity, enunciation, control etc. He stands alone and humble.

Human Nature are an Aussie group that have been contracted for about 5 years in Vegas. They did a group of songs with John. I told you they have so far found 13 different genre’s that John sings naturally. He is the Voice. Tom Jones dropped in on a big screen to sing Happy Birthday to John during his show in Vegas at this concert. I am sorry I never got to see theses two tour together. Thank you.

Exactly. This is why I think the term underrated is misused. People that know rate them very highly. It's the fact that more people don't know them that is the issue

Just. Bloody. Spectacular. And I'm not talking about their legs 😂😂 Human Nature has been around for at least 30 years. Amazing acapella group. They had a hit with John Farnham in approx 2000 called Every Time You Cry. They did a residency in Vegas for ages. Not sure if they're still there or not.

I just watched all your reaction videos to John again for the fourth time, and I thought, 'He needs to do another John reaction', and today I felt a thrill when I saw this new one. Thank you. I could sing like that if I wanted to. "Well do it then!" I don't want to. :) It's not just that Farnham is a remarkable singer. It's that other elite singers are restricted to specific genres. He simply isn't and can do anything he wants. I've heard him do pop, soft rock, hard rock, country, R&B/Soul as well as anyone. He's just different.

@@TheCharlieSmithChannel Perhaps 'restricted' isn't the right word. Maybe lack the versatility? Out of their comfort zones? But even that sounds disrespectful to them (and I don't mean it that way). Perhaps Farnham is just fearless and is willing to jump into any genre.

@AbigailMcGarvey yeah I mean artists in the mainstream tend to stay in their lane for a few reasons. The mainstream music works like a business more than it does an art form. Once labels find a formula that works they just do that because it's proven to have worked. They don't want to risk any exploration because it could jeopardise the revenue. So this says more about how the industry and music labels operate than it does the skill level of the artists. When you scratch below the surface there are many many incredible modern artists who are massively adventurous and straddle many different genres. You just won't hear the on the radio or see them on TV. I react to many of them on the channel to be honest

I know you love John’s music and thank you for supporting this Aussie icon. You should checkout some more of John’s earlier stuff, solo and with “the little river band” John is the greatest male vocalist of all time, even from the start. In this he is supported by “human nature”(Aussie boy band).. anything John touches is bound to be gold.

Human nature was a boy band in the early 90ties. In recent years they have been doing Vegas shows singing motown classics. Great vocal group who allso performed in front of smokey Robinson him self. Check that out. Outstanding performence. Well John farnham can master any kind of genre to perfektion ❤

Human Nature are one of the biggest "boy bands" from Australia, highly talented. Started out in high school doing things like gospel a capella. They became HUGE in Aus as a mainstream boy band in the era of Backstreet Boys etc, but are perhaps most known overseas for their long Vegas residency doing motown. They had a huge hit in Australia with John called "Every Time You Cry." John clearly values and respects their talent so much in return, but you can still see their giddy fanboy delight whenever they get to perform with him. I guess for Australians the impact of this combo was a bit like if BTS had released a single with Frank Sinatra.

Human Nature are a group from Brisbane, Queensland Australia. They have a long gig in las Vegas.

Yes that's true about Queen. Freddy said he was incredible and he's mates with Brian May who played with him at the Firefight Concert in the 2019. Celine Dion called him the Voice before he performed You're the Voice with her. He is the G.O.A.T. He can sing any genre. 😍😍😍

I mean, 'better' is obviously completely subjective. I absolutely loved this but, in my opinion, there are many better acapella performances. Acapella is it's own gebre of music and there are some phenomenal groups out there
