Farnham is the Christopher Walken of music. Whatever song he sings, even poor ones, is worth listening to.

I love this song. I've always been curious about the lyrics though, they seem to relate, at least allegorically, to the betrayal of Jesus: The first verse: - come betray me with a kiss (Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss) - rope enough to hang yourself (Judas hung himself) The second verse: - the truth you would deny me, you're lying like a rock (the name Peter means "rock", Peter denied Jesus 3 times)
