I saw him live. He read an older man in front of me. He was reading this man for 10 minutes and he wasn't getting it. Out of frustration he said " You're wife saw you eating those cookies on the way here!" She says you're not supposed to have sugar! His adult son freaks out , elbows him. The man reaches in his pocket and pulls out an Oreo wrapper. The room erupted in laughter. The man wept.

Great episode. Thanks. My mom unsuccessfully battled her weight after my sister was born. Later she also fought cancer, heart issues, and arthritis. She passed away in 2015. About a year after she suddenly passed away, I had a vivid dream of her. We were in my childhood home, and she was standing in front of me in a beautiful pink checked sundress dress and she looked svelte and to be between 20 and 25. A mirror was hanging on the door behind her, and I could also see her reflection from the back. The dress was a button down in back. It was too real. She said she felt great and could wear all her favorite clothes again. A couple of years later we were looking through my grandmother's album and there was a picture of my mother that I had never seen. It was black and white, and it was my mother in that dress. My grandmother wrote that she had made the dress in 1964, and it was pink gingham. You cannot make this stuff up! My mom visited me one more time.

The ‘chills’ usually run down my arms when I’m spooked. I never knew you could have FULL body chills until I read THIS story! 🤯 My sister, brother and I all had supernatural visitations from my Mother after she died. I had a vivid dream she was talking to me and she was with Christ. My sister had doors opening in her house repeatedly after she would shut them and she heard my Mom saying her name and even felt her breath on her cheek! My brother was doing bad things and took a nap one day. He didn’t believe in ‘ghosts’ but said he felt someone shake him awake by the shoulders as if our Mom was saying, ‘Stop what you are doing!’ THAT really got his attention! 😂

I 1000% know my sister came to visit me about a year after she passed. We laughed and cried with joy. I felt her embrace, and we stayed in that hug the entire time. Nothing was really said, yet volumes were communicated. I cried every day for a year until she came to visit. After that, I rarely cry from sorrow. I know she's soooooo happy. ❤

My mom had lingered after she had passed. My four year old son and I deeply loved my mom and were heartbroken when she left us. A few days after Mom had passed, my son woke me to say, Mama, wake up! Mommom is here! I woke up immediately, looked at the clock which read 2 am, and told my son, Honey, Mommom is in Heaven. She's not here. He insisted. He exclaimed, Mama, she's right there! Can't you see her? She's asking if we are okay. Are we okay, Mama? I said, Yes, honey. We are okay. Tell Mommom we love her and we are okay. I was crying at this point. To think my articulate, intelligent little boy seemingly was communicating with my mom was beyond mind boggling. My son still is one of the most honest people I ever have known. I believe he did see and speak with my mom, and she did come to us to ensure we were okay. My mom loved us as much as we loved her.❤

When John spoke about having our loved ones from the other side being near us. I said out loud, “Austin, if you’re there, give me a sign.” My mom just a minute ago came into my room with a big grin and she was hiding something behind her back. I just finished giving a reading to a daughter who lost her father 2 years ago...I saw an album..and then a card..handwritten from her dad...the daughter just jumped up with joy...as her mother had just found an old album and in it was a post card her dad had hand written for her daughter..which had been forgotten to be given to her...and all these years it was just there..to be found now..and for my reading to get validation...it was an amazing moment..and filled us both with such love and joy. They are always around us..loving and caring for us just like they used to when they were in their physical bodies. Medium from Pakistan Stay blessed Shae

About six months after my Mom passed I had a visit from her. It was amazing. I was asleep and it was very strange. Suddenly she was there, sitting on the side of the bed. She looked as she had before she got ill. Although the room was dark, it was as if she had a lamp shining on her. I was so happy to see her and zinc said Oh Mom. You have come back! She said Yes, but I can't stay long. I only came to see if you are alright and to tell you not to feel so bitter. You only hurt yourself. This was in reference to some family business and an error that had been made by the bank. She said she had looked in on my small son but nit wakened him. She only kissed his little forehead. Then she kissed me goodbye and left. Next morning I was telling my husband about the vivid dream I had had, when my son came bouncing into the room and told us his Granny had come to visit him and kissed him. That all happened about fifty years ago, and is as vivid in my memory as it was the next morning.

@e54 My thoughts exactly! Somebody should have told or signaled to her to stop. The fact that her mom noticed and chose to ignore and distract tells me that this kind of behavior happens often and gets ignored or the mom tries to distract her instead of correcting her - otherwise, there is no way the child would have felt as comfortable being so disrespectful and rude. I felt embarassed for the mom and for Howie too. It was very annoying and distracting during an otherwise fantastic podcast. I have had so many otherworldly experiences. It started with my fascination about a young girl on the cover of LIFE magazine in 1964. She could read colors and had ESP. I was about 9 or 10 at the time. I thought, what’s so special about her…I bet I could do this. I kept practicing my awareness of my surroundings and mental connections to things. I got better, but a few years later I was getting scared because I couldn’t explain things that I was seeing ahead of time. I could write a book. I found this fascinating video and it has gotten me interested in reading more information on it. I love Howie and have known about John Edward’s for decades…never doubted him. I believe we live among many dimensions that we cannot see. I travel to many of them in my dreams and have experienced dozens and dozens of events and places that I could not as a human being on this planet in this dimension.

I have had extraordinary or “paranormal” events throughout my life. I died at birth and “jokingly” attribute my differentness to that. I wanted to contact others, or find an existing study of those who were resusitated at birth, to see if they experience events that they cannot explain. So far I am unsuccessful. I had two events around age five and my curiosity bloomed at around 9-10 and I knew these were “different” and not to speak of of them. Did you perhaps have a difficult birth? If people “light up” after a NDE, I am curious if dying at birth alters the brain enough to perceive what others cannot. BTW…I wonder if you had an experience at birth?

Yes, it is a great blessing to learn that our loved ones are in a very wonderful experience. It does not stop the grieving, though, loosing someone's physical actions with us in our life has to be mourned. This does not come easily for some and is painful. I had already grieved for my mother when she moved across the country and I realized that she was now old and would not travel so far - even to see me. I grieved her coming death for years and years. I only needed a year to grieve for my first husband. I had known I would loose him before I was ready and wept and mourned years for him and really went through a lot of pain and sorrow. Now I am dealing with my second husbands death. I have not been grieving for his loss very quickly and I am seeking help from John Edwards. He was very helpful with the anger part of my grieving with that loss. Thank you, John Edwards, thank you so much. @@LizaFergison

Because it was just after 9/11, he wanted to partner with us to do an event and all of the proceeds went to the families affected by 9/11. We took a photo together with our teacher, Mrs. Susan Cornell, who is mentioned in his book and I have it framed to this day. He's the real deal, no question. He's incredibly talented.

When my cat passed away, I could not stop crying. Before he died, I tried saving him and blew through all of my money at 6 veterinarians. I couldn't save him. I had to put him to sleep and sang to him as he went to the Lord. I kept saying i didn't want to live without him, and just wanted to die. I couldn't be consoled and couldn't stop crying, the pain was so deep. It was so dark. That night, i saw him sitting in the doorway and I saw a green "orb" move through the air and disappeared in him. It was weird. I was half asleep after crying, heard his paws walking across the carpet (i had plastic vapor barrier under the rug so it made noise) popped my head up, looked in that direction and saw him. I said his name in a question, and said "You're HERE?" He just looked at me from the doorway, which was about 12 feet away. I leaned forward to try to focus on him, squinting my eyes, but didn't move, and just started crying hysterically. The pain was so bad. Gutwrenching. Then he disappeared. I was shocked, like "what just happened?" I figured it was just from stress, laid back down and closed my eyes. A little while later, i heard him snoring on the floor behind me which was where he laid before he died. Omg, I jumped up again and said his name, "Are you here?" But i didn't see anything. The next night, i went to do laundry, and in route back home I was almost there and saw a "twin" of him walking along the road. Same exact markings and everything. I slammed on my brakes and yelled "Oh my God!" I recorded it on video and tried to get him to come to me, calling him "come here!" I will never forget it. I NEVER saw a cat that looked exactly like him. He walked directly in front of my car and then moved over, walking along the side of the road. He eventually ran into the woods in the dark so I couldn't see him anymore. The only pain I've ever felt like that was losing my "soulmate" to a breakup. Several times. I wish my baby boy would come to me somehow and let me know he's with me. I've lost my "soulmate" again and it's like he can't treat me normal without emotionally abusing me to push me away. There's so much pain, I just wish I felt my baby boy with me. I loved him more than anything- I never had kids so he was like my child. My boyfriend was the only real "romantic" love I've ever felt, even after dating several others before. I will never forget that experience for the rest of my life.

During my mom's funeral we were standing in a circle-- me, my step-father, all of my aunties-- and as we were listening to the Reverend describe what would happen during the services I felt a hug. I looked to both sides and no one was hugging me. I said goodbye to my mom before they closed the casket and placed one of my butterfly barettes in her hands and asked her to send me a sign to let me know that she was okay and that she got to where she was going. A week later I finally felt okay enough to visit her house. I knew I would be sad to see her couch because that's where she always napped. When I was about to walk up the stairs to the front door a yellow butterfly flew in front of me and settled on the step I was about to climb. It fluttered it's wings a few times and then it flew away.

When my Mom was dying in the hospital I got sick and had to leave. Went to the Dr. .. I had pneumonia and an infection in my leg. They marked my leg off and said if the red line crossed it call 911. Didn't put me in the hospital because of COVID and I had a bad Dr. .. so, I wasn't able to go to Mom's funeral. As I watched the clock , thinking about her, I thought ? She is being put in the ground about now. I struggled to get to my back door on crutches. As I looked at the Sky, talking to God. A little white feather floated down. No birds were out. ( Singing or chirping) . Odd on such a pretty Day. I ask ? Is this my sign? Another little white feather floated down.i Thanked the Lord. I was at Peace... Later on I was in the kitchen struggling to fix me something to eat and clean up. Mom was right behind me telling me I better STOP and Sit Down. I did. Was about to have Heart Attack. Took my nitro. Mom has come to me several times. The last time she appeared, I was in bed( not asleep!), A young woman was helping her , holding her steady so she wouldn't fall. The young woman said she insisted on coming to see me One last time. The young woman was the picture perfect version of my Mom when she was Young. Mom looked nice, fixed up, her hair done pretty. She had to tell me: Stop pushing myself, Stop Worrying about my grown children, there is nothing I can do, expect take care of myself. Stop! Or I would be with her shortly if I didn't Stop. She had to tell me and wasn't able to come back anymore. OK, Mom, I Will Listen to you. Please, you Stop worrying about me. You go rest and have your Peace. I Love you. Haven't seen, heard from her anymore. I know she is alright. I've had many other encounters with others as they were leaving ...

I just caught your podcast with John Edwards and it was awesome. I just wanted to say that I lost my 47 year old son suddenly back in 2013 and there were 2 times after he passed that I am positive he was communicating with me. The first time was returning from his viewing the evening before his funeral. Returning home with family there was a praying mantis on the wall in our kitchen. Ricky loved them and used to say they would sit and watch him working out in his detached garage. The second thing that happened came in a dream. He was communicating with me by writing this long letter and using clouds to make the words. I remember he wanted me to know how much he loved me and always will and will always be watching over me until we are together again I can’t remember much more but know it was a very special long letter and when I woke up I so wanted to go back to sleep and stay with him. To this day I still can feel his presence and love ❤️. I also somehow know since losing mom, daddy and my son in 3 years in a row that they are definitely up there together and always watching over me. They also send me signs, feathers and coins I find while outside walking or in parking lots when going to the store. I will always be grateful to know they are gone physically but they are still with me is spirit. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏. Grammie Suzie from Bradenton Florida

I have had very similar experiences with other people. One time, I was on a break at work outside with coworkers when I started receiving information about a woman I didn't know, standing near me. The energy was very powerful. I was naming names, naming dates for events in her life, saw her son trying to keep his head above water, I even heard the name of the military base where that event occurred. I realized I was communicating with her grandfather whom, as she said, was born on the very day we were standing outside. It was June 28. She told me he also died on that day and verified everything I saw and felt. It was so surreal. That's when I fully understood I had this gift.

I watched John Edward when I was younger, we will say. I absolutely was intrigued by all the specificity that comes with his gift. He is very poised and professional. I love his attitude about having respect for spirit and clients. This show is great . Ive only watched this and one other show but You folks knock it out of the park and lastly my deepest condolences to Jan who just recently lost her father. Im so glad that she maybe got some hope and some good feelings surrounding her father. May God bless all of you and your families. Thank you for sharing a little piece of my nostalgic part of my life , when all was much simpler and I didn't worry . Ive always wanted a reading about my biological father, my grandparents and I too lost someone very close to me and my children. Literally it was like a destruction ball came bashing through my life. Im struggling to keep it all together because we also were co-dependant with bills and things. So not only did she pass away from a burst blood clot that was unpreventable but now my financial situation is dire. Im doing everything I can to replace the money and I am so worried. Sorry guys just felt like someone could relate to me today on your show.

The 5% happened to me with my mother 🤗 it was amazing & weird all at the same time. My son was 6 months old when my mother passed very suddenly. My son was colicky so he cried a lot. About a month after she passed I was sleeping in my bed with my husband (the sceptic) & I woke up to the sound of my son's binky (he used to flick the handle while rocking himself to sleep) but this time I heard like a patting sound, I sat up & I saw her clear as alive & she was bent over the crib patting my son on the bum like she did when she would rock him to sleep 🤗 my husband looked over & came straight out of the bed yelling did u just see that!!!! & I looked back & she was gone. He grabbed me so tight I'll never forget it, that hug was validation that he saw her too. He never spoke of it again but when I tell the story he backs me up to this day. It's been 23 yrs. The "Easter Egg Message" is the part that took me a while to figure out. The part I left out was that my mother also had another boy child in her other arm as she bent over patting my sleeping child in the crib. They looked identical but this one had the reddest hair I had ever seen, it matched my mother's hair, I was so confused. However 8 months later I was no longer confused bc I gave birth to a very unexpected child considering I had a problem pregnancy with my last child & had to have an emergency surgery leaving me unable to have more children or so that's what they thought. & Yes his hair is very red 🤗 What I've learned: We are divinely guided if we so choose to see the signs. My grief (in hind sight) was my greatest teacher. In those grief stricken moments you can choose either to be the Phoenix or the pile of ash it leaves behind.

When John Edward was talking about how a deck of Tarot cards just dropped off the shelf in front of him in a bookstore, it was a case of deja vu. Reason being is I had a similar experience when visiting a New Age book shop in Perth, Australia when holidaying there in 1995. I was discussing with the assistant who worked there the type of book I needed when a book literally jumped of the shelf in front of me, needless to say it was on the exact subject I was seeking and of course I bought it.

I grew up in the same house as my great grandmother and her son, my grandfather. About 15 years after her passing, I finally had a visit from her. She was not on my mind at the time in any way whatsoever. I was asleep when it happened. She came to me in a vivid dream with that usual bright white light behind her-it was so bright it was almost blinding. She held her arms out to me as she was walking towards me, saying my name. She held me in her arms. And just like that, the visit was over. I will never ever forget that dream. I had wished for so long for several of my close relatives to come and show me that they were there, and finally, after 15 years someone came to me. I’ve had several family members die before that, and after, with the most recent being my mom. My mother and I had a pact that we would seriously haunt each other after dying. I have not sensed her once. There is no doubt in my mind that my grandmother came to visit me that night.

3 months after my Mum passed she visited me in a very vivid dream. My Mum passed away at age 84 from Cancer. She was a real skeptic - didnt believe in the afterlife at all. In this dream she was probably in her 50s and was looking so healthy. She came to say goodbye and gave me a big hug and a kiss. I woke up emotional - it felt so real. Later that day I phoned my Sister and the first thing she said to me was "Did Mum visit you?" I went quiet - I was shocked ! When I said "Yes" my Sister went quiet. It turned out my Mum visited me, my Sister and her daughter all in the same night. I can't wrap my head around it logically but it's really comforting to know that she's okay.

This was an amazing segment! I liked John's story of how he came into his gift. I experience situations where I will start thinking of someone I know and get the most loving, warm feeling. Or, I will just be doing something, and this overwhelming feeling of love and warmth with a thought of someone will wash over me. My first reaction when this first started happening was always, hey, I need to call Whoever. Then, I would find out the person I was thinking of died just as this feeling of love washed over me. At first, it really creeped me out because I didn't want to be having nice thoughts of someone and then they die. Eventually, I came to realize that these people were just having their "one last time" with me, and I decided it's a really amazing gift I've been given. 🙂

I only subscribed to this because of the John Edward promo I saw in my feed! So happy to see John Edward again. It’s been years… and the fact that Howie wasn’t able to rattle him, is amazing!!! shows just how true his gift is. ♥️

If by “gift” you mean “being a phony profiteering a**hole taking advantage of grieving people”, then yes, he has a real gift.

Great interview. I agree with just about everything. Mr. Edward says I’m also a psychic, medium and spirit portrait artist for the past 20 years and I feel like watching this. I’m just nodding and agreeing with about everything here. You can, in fact turn off the flow of information by shutting the door. When things first started opening for me, and I was about eight or nine years of age I was frightened and that’s exactly what I did. It wasn’t until I was 19 and had the experience standing in a funeral home with my stepmother, right after my father had passed. The Director had taken her through the room with the caskets to make a choice and then they walked out. They didn’t notice that I was still in the room. The door closed, the lights went out, and the music turned off and there I was in a room with 40 open caskets in the dark. I must’ve screamed and was pounding at the door, and when the Director opened the door, and was so apologetic, all of a sudden, I could see my father, standing behind me, laughing hysterically about the whole thing. I was overcome with so many emotions - but fear was not one of them, after all, dad was laughing about my fear, and I felt a tiny bit foolish. It took a while to process the fact that I had seen him, standing behind me, no less, because normally, I don’t see people that are standing behind me anyway. There was just so much about this to unpack. But it was the first step towards me, allowing the door to open again. Anyway, amazing episode. Thank you Howie!

Thank you all for sharing your beautiful experiences with loved ones and pets who have passed on.❤❤❤ I had a similar dream/visitation with my grandpa 23 years after he passed away. Long story short, I was having major medical stress with my unborn son and my grandpa came to tell me it was all going to be okay and to stop worrying about it. He was in his '60s when he passed, but in this dream he looked like a colorized photo of himself at about the age of 30. He was so handsome and alive. We were in my grandma's garden talking in the dream, and I remember the flowers being super tall, WAY over my head, in super vibrant colors I cannot describe in words that were changing and moving like they were alive! I told him to come inside my grandma's house and say hello to everybody and he said, "It's okay, honey. They wouldn't be able to see me anyway." 😂 He was right, my baby boy was born perfectly healthy and is still thriving at the age of 24. ❤

Such an amazing episode! My grandpa I was very close with passed in 2010, my grandma (his wife) passed in 2007. I had a dream about them and I was at their house sitting at their table with them drinking water (water sounds weird but it was the glasses used that was the “importance”). But we were sitting having a chat and catching up. They were so happy to be together. Simple moments but things said were also important. Let me know they had been there with me the entire time and would always be with me. ❤

He wrote a book about the Rosary? I’ve read a few of John’s books, but I never heard of that one. I recently started praying the rosary, and I love praying it in the mornings. It brings me comfort.
