adoptnotbreed hi! I am a member of Johns fan club. They give things out monthly..free readings etc. I was chosen along with 4 other people to see John at his office/studio on Long Island. It was called Table for Five. We sat with John and shared a light meal with him. He read each of us. My mother came through John said she had a little boy with her. He said she had a miscarriage ..I said No I know everything about my mother. When I got home to Pittsburgh I told my older sister everything. She told me that our Mother had a miscarriage before me and it was a boy! Obviously there was no way John could have googled this as some people claim he does. I knew nothing about this! He told me so much that day! It was an experience of a lifetime! I was even featured on one of his webcasts! A lot of differences between him and Theresa Caputo. Johns events are done in ballrooms of hotels with approx 200 people. Very personal feeling! Theresa’s events are done in big venues with probably 3000 people. Their techniques are very different. Theresa is very charamastic and John is much more reserved. Theresa’s personal readings are very non expensive and all the money goes to charities like for Veterans. I wasn’t sure about Johns prices for private readings but I heard they were expensive and John has a waiting list that expands into years. I love them both so much! Hohn is the very best at his work... yes the real deal. His empathy as others have said shows a humble kind soul.

He talked about Canada ask just left. He kept saying about a father dying even before DL said it was his. The song thing DL NEVER told Anyone and didn’t want to admit he wrong a song to his dad when John acknowledged it. Religion really got people scared in the head. I’m talking about these comments.

I am way beyond you in understanding, that is for sure.

Yes, he eliminated any doubt that he was indeed connecting with the deceased dad.

if he found out the DL wrote music how come he had to ask him what kind like why are there something that he just knows and other things he can't know

John Edwards is genuine and DL didn't get the point, his father was acknowledging what DL did for him. DL was really uncomfortable.. and it's understandable.

i don't know what happened between dl and his father, but i hope, for dl's sake, that he an forgive him...

Hugely is a public figure, it would have been easy for Edwards to just look up the info. I've seen some of Edward's readings that are obvious cold readings.

+Rose NoHo I totally disagree! You can apply that cold reading crap to anyone. It is because you don't understand how it all works that you say these things. If Hugely, never told anyone about the music he wrote for his dead father and he acknowledged that John Edward and he had never met, how can you say that Edward is cold reading the guy. There is no way he could come up with that information. I have seen John Edward talk to people who called in on the phone, someone that he never knew. This woman was calling into a radio station and John Edward told her she had a certain material possession and she kept denying it, then her husband came into the room and told her that she did. I think you need to have a reading by the guy before you can make judgements against him.

Jim Roberts I know how cold reading works, the "reader" makes a general statement, the person being read gives the reader specific info, and the reader acts like they got the info from spirit. I am not saying Edward is cold reading Hugely, he is hot reading him. Edward and Hugely never met, but Hugely is a *public figure*. Edward could get the info via Google. What "certain material possession" did Edward say the woman had?

I am saying he came up with the "song" that was written that Hugely said he had never told a soul about. Other things that John came up with may not be known to the person being read, but may be discovered later. Things are sometimes miscontrued as errors on the part of a reader because they are receiving images for references. It is not like the spirit is whispering in his ear. It is very difficult for a spirit to obtain a voice.....since there are no vocal chords to use. But you dont believe and I do because I have experienced it first hand, and obviously you have not. So there is no point continuing this conversation. You really dont understand how spirits communicate with us. However, if you so choose, you can learn.

Why doesn't he ever hear someone on the other side say, "The mailman killed me. My body is buried in the basement."?Those that have passed are obsessed with telling their relatives how they died. It's almost always mentioned in psychic "readings". Why doesn't he ever hear a murdered person say how they were killed and who did it? He talks about murder but never gives any facts. If his readings where real, he would be solving crimes constantly because the population of murder victims is huge and so is the living relatives wanting answers. Instead, Mr. Edward lives in a psychic world were murder victims and the facts of how they died don't exist.

If he were wrong, he'd broaden his guess. That's how he gets you. Look at readings where he guesses something specific and is wrong and you'll see what I mean.

I am projecting truth and reality. What are you projecting?

Ok give me one empirical observation that he's made that couldn't either be explained by a mixture of cold-reading and chance encounter or luck or wasn't just Edwards throwing something out there and hoping that it can be applicable to the person he's "reading" I think one thing we might say of him is that he profits immensely from essential swindling them with a promise of the afterlife that he doesn't even seem to have any respect for.

He knew about 2 people being murdered and he knew about the music he had written. The only swindler is you, trying to convince us you know something you are only guessing about. John couldn't be swindling DL because he was not paying for this reading, it was part of the show who was probably paying them both.

I dont know about these psychics or mediums. Their is one thing for sure that you never hear about, I've read that Edwards and Silvia charge anyway from $500 dollars or more an hr for their services. Which if they are psychic why would they need to do that. Especially when many of these people probably dont have money in the first place. If they wanna help people, do that. Not charge for it. So you have to wonder how real they really are.
