this is a powerful message that speaks during this time of chaos, lack of leadership and moral guidance. This is one world. We need to work together to right the wrongs and stop racism, hate, discrimination, to deal with climate change, to deal with the economic disparity that exists throughout the world. ITS ABOUT TIME... This is one of my favorites also. Even more so now because I have had the privilege of seeing many of the places and sites pictured. If you haven't heard it check out the song he recorded with Alexander Gradsky. It is called "What Are We Making Weapons For?". Alexander Gradsky was the most popular singer/songwriter in Russia at the time. The backstory on how it came to be is great and John Denver talks about it on his "Live at Cedar Rapids". I am not positive but I believe the gentleman playing the guitar at the 2:10 mark is Alexander Gradsky.

You will find that about 90% of all the songs ever written are simple G-C-D chords - originated by Johann Pachelbel in the 1680's for "Canon in D" the only canon he ever wrote!!! (a canon is a leader/follower type of music - like "Row, row, row your boat"!!!) Of course there are exceptions like "Rocky Mountain High". But most - (Sunshine On My Shoulders, Let It Be, Bridge Over Troubled Waters) are simple canons!!!!! Through trial and error - maybe you'll write the next great hit! It happens!
