Outrageous! He was singing about John Paul II. NOT Francis.

America has a better idea.

Big problem with the video. In 1983, when John Denver wrote this, the Pope he was referring to was Saint John Paul II, NOT the one pictures, Francis. JPII opposed communism, Francis embraces it. JPII did not bow before mother earth and pachamama, Francis does. JPII was a hero of the common man, Francis is a member of the world elites.

But, didn't you notice when Pope Francis was elected, ALL the birds flying around the pipe on the roof of the building where all the Cardinals had been staying to get a new Pope appointed? Keep in mind that NO phones or computers are allowed in that building during this process. It's done the same way as its been done for hundreds of years. When you look at a photo or a statue of St. Francis, he's always pictured with birds around him. HOW did the birds know or ANYONE that he picked the name Francis after St. Francis. Interesting.
