There should be a washer over the cam first , then the 2 hole bracket lastly the nylon nut .

You have a part hanging down in the middle, there’s a spring on a rod. What is it called, engagement arm?

If it’s the one I think you’re talking about . It’s simply called the brake rod

Well. That’s about how it’s gonna go for me. So, stupid question but the brakes are only on one side? Or is there a whole other brake pads and disk I need to order??

Blow the trash off. Sand the pins clean.roll up fine sandpaper and clean out pin holes.
