@jamesroering if im not mistaken it was arond 8 grand in parts. and about 5 in labor if im not mistaken.

slew bearing split right in half ... yuck So did the bolts come loose leading to cracking of the bearing or bearing cracked first due to wear leading to broken bolts as secondary damage ?

I need to take off the bolts of the swing pump, which tool do I need and where I can find it?

@cadilac345497 it was at my dads shop in texas.

Obviously the Bearing had wear because the ass end of the machine should be lifting up way before anything should be breaking.

tube of grease a day keeps the wrench away shock loading and hammering shattered bearing. We have cranes this happens . Slop from wear causes house to hammer balls in race splitting them and housing. My PC 300 went bad 13000hours. I never hammered shock loaded it. Smooth operation and grease is essential. Ps Side loading when back filling voids CAT warranty. Cracks boom and dipper ruins pins bushings also. Alot of dudes side load boom not knowing this is not allowed as per mfg.

bearing broke first. inexperienced operator was lifting something way to heavy for machine and boom was all the way extended. Dumb decision to make and costly
