Why do you have so much air in the challenger tyres. 15 psi in the rear and 18 in the front is what I’d be trying. Each to their own I guess

Definitely agree with the tyre pressures, they are way too high. Need to lower them to lengthen your footprint with your tread. It will make a huge difference. Yeah the 8RX is amazing, we just got ours 2 weeks ago. Can’t wait to see it working during our seeding. 👌👍

Could you share the stated drawbar horsepower of both tractors and differential in list price between the two. Thanks!

HP/Weight/Footprint = Traction/Pull. Those tiny rubber band tires can’t compete against a track 😂

Tracks are going to excel over wheels in the field. Wheels are going to excel over tracks on the road. One of those facts of life. I would love to see Deere come out with a or 8rx that is a step up in hp from the 410. Something like a 470 that boosts to near 500 hp. I think farmers will be begging for it in the age of high speed planting, tilling, etc. IMO, an 8rx should be able to maintain 10 mph pulling a 24 row high speed planter. That is my barometer anyways.

35 psi? Seems like an awful lot. I'd want it to be fairly dry.

Tires make bounce. No bounce in the tracks. That would be my guess on your “smooth” ride in the Deere

LSW tires from Titan tires would be even better, on the road and in the field.

Fendts are notorious for being poor pullers for their horsepower, and the tracks are so much better for pulling than those rowcrop tyres.

How much acres do you have? I am a farmer in austria (arnold schwarzenegger😅) and i have 75 acres field and 110 acres forest and i am a big farmer here. Thats only a weekend job for you i think 😅 😂. And how big is your biggest field?

Just to give more insight here, i have a 1050 and a 8RX 410. The Challenger is way over rated. My 410 will handily outpull the 1050.

Might be running at lower rpm , but your be saving fuel with the rx because your losing time with the less traction on the challenger,

think about what your said..... Its all about Gallons per hour or G/A. If his speed is the same in the RX with 1% slip, vs the Challenger at 10%, then hes not losing time. Also, His tire pressures are way too high. If he adjust them to the right level then his wheel slippage should be a lot less.
