Those old two cylinders sure love to work. When I was younger, the ring of the brake locks hitting the axle was my signal to stop whatever I was doing and go find Dad and get to work.

Carburetor might could use a little "talking to" at an idle, but under load she sure knows what to do!

Hi Rusty. Had that carb rebuilt by a JD dealer about 40 years ago. For some reason, it seems like it always runs just a little lean. Once it gets good and hot it runs better.

Cowboy, I live rural Iowa about 15 miles North of Cedar Rapids, if you know where that is.

Is a 60 similar to a Model A or B?

A 60 is much like the A.

@@montiraruba2831 you could say either the Model 40 or Model 50, although the 50 would outweigh the B by over 1000 pounds and has a bigger engine than the B.
