I coulded agree more, this is 100 times better than a Agri-Fab!

I just saw a customer complaint on a Ohio Steel unit. Same issue of torn early on. The response from company was You need to adjust tongue so bag doesn’t drag. I just got one an I’ve got to say it’s not easy to do. That’s why most have 4 of those plates sticking out. Just set it so the bag isn’t dragging no matter how you’ve got to locate the hitch. If it looks wonky no matter as long as the bag isn’t dragging on the ground👍🏻

it will work good on smaller ones, if they are the big ones the size of a pear or something, im not sure how it would do with those...

When I moved to a new home the previous owner just left one of these on the property in mostly good shape, everything still works, beat to heck and back of course but it's all there. Apparently it's the 8th revision? Just thought it was funny when comparing the different versions, it's got a windscreen that's like.. 2 inches long lol, not sure why they bothered in that now-mine version. Good video, from this I was able to decipher what needed to be done on that old one and took it for a spin around the yard with my cub cadet, worked great for being "free" lol

Nice, but DARN. I was hoping to see see how well that thing picked up grass. I was wondering what you would use that sweeper for but I didn't find out until the end of the video it was for grass. Most of the lawn sweeper videos on youtube show them picking up leaves, so I always wondered how it handles grass. Do you sweep the grass right away or do you wait for the grass to dry before sweeping, or does it matter?

Don’t worry, I have a video of it picking up grass coming. Already have the footage, just gotta put it together… Generally with my videos I will have overview and use separate. But to answer your question it handles grass very well, and you can use it right away. I prefer picking grass up wet, because when it gets dry, it tends to float around more and could find it’s way past the cover.

I like green, and if I can match attachments to the tractor, why not?! Realistically the Brinly STS version is exactly the same. So you can save yourself some money.

Can the hitch attachment be flipped over for another 4 height positions? Looks like it could be.

That part comes along with the rest of the hamper. Part number is R2420

What's the model number of your lawn sweeper? I would like to replace my lawn sweeper wheels with ones like yours. Your wheels look like they're higher quality.

John Deere part number LPSTS42JD. Who makes your sweeper? These wheels may or may not fit, I can’t tell you that for sure.

What type of lubricant is that? Thanks!

Specifically the one I use is the DuPont Teflon general use lubricant, but Teflon is their name for PTFE, so anything PTFE. A grease of sorts would be even better, there is one called “Super Lube”, that has PTFE, I haven’t used it, but I wouldn’t hesitate to. It would stay on the gears longer. I haven’t had an issue running this stuff though, so I’ll stick with it for the time being.

Will it pick up sheep droppings?

Can’t say… never had a sheep, dog droppings are hit or miss, honestly if you purchase this specifically for animal droppings, you would probably be disappointed.

You may have a worn out gear. If you search my other lawn sweeper videos, so will find one about repairing a drive gear. They are easily replaceable or you can repair them if you have the means. If the lock pin wears too much into the gear, it won’t lockup to the brushes, and it will stop picking up.

Cant stand playing the game of what brand is it, is it a John Deere or is is not?
