John Deere 318 no start spark, fuel diagnose, Onan

John Deere 318 ,Onan P218G. They said it would drop the PTO and not run. It cranked over well but i did test the battery with a battery tester. Was Good. Then i checked for spark on the P218G Onan engine in the John Deere 318 garden tractor. Onan not starting. the John Deere had spark . Then i checked for fuel at the fuel pump. the fuel pump on the onan p218g engine was working but the John Deere 318 would not start. Check fuel flow onan engine. Check for spark onan engine p218g. Onan engine in john deere garden tractor not running because of carburetor needle valve stuck shut. . Not sure yet why Pto would drop out .

I just buy aftermarket carburetor for $35 for my 317.
