    Super job on that tractor. The SG2 cab was well ahead of its time, particularly in ergonomics. Everything was within easy reach, making it a great place to spend a day. The only downside nowadays is that refurbishing them is an expensive job.

    Looks fantastic 👍 attention to detail is unbelievable you pulled out all the stops if you’re going to do something right do it yourself and you proved it here. I loved these tractors I drove them in their day, also the John Deere 4055 4wd but I never see anyone with one or a rebuild one.. the one I drove had the front linkage for the mower which was nearly unheard of back in 1989

  • @gerry6420

    @gerry6420

    5 жыл бұрын

    It’s a little control box for overriding power going to the Massey drill we had. If you flicked it off then it’s stop powering up the tramline system and save you having to keep resetting the tramlines. Very simple. We could take it out. If I wanna put the gps into it it can power it. So I just leave it in.

But dad insisted on new piston ring kit and replace big end bearings so as not to have to go in at a later date after the paint work was done. There’s almost 12000 hrs on her. You’d never think it to drive it. Was vell looked after and maintained
