We’re a mixed farm from north east. We have 60 suckler cows, finish beef cattle and grow cereals for our beef enterprise. Videos are of the day to day goings on on our farm. From livestock work to machinery and tractor work. So it’s quite a good mix. If your interested in seeing what we do, hit the sub button and say hello. Gerry

Nice to see that time of the year again. JF looking in great shape. Can you get a shoot extension for that. Would make it easier to fill High sided trailers.
Good what have 10 /11 ton to the acre nice crop gerry
Nice cutting 14/16ft award for trail harvester pick nice .tractor drawing will be kept going to keep you going
Great job
Great video Gerry , brings back memories of doing our own silage with a pottinger Mex6 and our 3050 . Kept the cobwebs out of her 😂. 3130 on the pit , in latter years replaced with jcb412
Time for a new chopper next season..than
No she do a while still. Going well
always good feeling when silage in c ur buddy in cavan could do with a green machine 😂😂😂
Both Adrian and Phil having Massey problems…. If they Got a Deere they wouldn’t know them selves. 👍😂
Jf sounded great. Come on Ben get the drone up.
Thanks Dave…. No Ben wasn’t around. Never is when you need him 😂😂
How many acres do you cut Gerry?
Only 29 acres this year. Have maize silage so won’t need as much grass silage
Great video Gerry 👌
Thanks Gary
👍👍👍.
👍
Great videos as always lad from tipp
Great video.
Another year of silage in the books. Great job on the video and thank you for bringing us along!
Great video ..its very rare that people cut there own silage around my area anymore. Theres no such word as too much silage
Hi gerry. U a some man on the jf .all grass going into trailers .
Were is the 3650?. good video.
She wasn’t on silage duty this year. Maybe in second cut. It’ll be mowing hay and tedding soon as weather right. You’ll see plenty of it 💪🏻
@@gerry6420 nice to see the 3650 working, are you getting any other old Deere's in the future?.
Lovely to see a home operator with a jf. Great content big fella.
Thanks lad. Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Just wondering how come there was a jcb on de pit instead of the John Deere
Dad was out of action this year with a back problem and we got a friend to put it up. He used his own telehandler as he’s used to driving it 👍 Deere will be back for second cut I hope
@@gerry6420 o right I just assumed u had de same person on de pit as always they just didn't like the John Deere
Hey Gerry Great videos as always For the drone footage, does your drone have active track ? This would allow to set up the drone so it follows you Just a thought
Yes it has. It’s a good feature but the problem is it never seems to be in the position you want. And loses the subject all the time. I do use it from time to time. Nothing beats taking control yourself. Tge newer mavic 3 pro it’s probably better. Mines a mavic 2 pro
Good video as always Gerry 👍 a really good days work getting it all lifted in the one day and put sealed and sheeted 🤔👌
Sheets went on next morning . But it was a good days work.
Gerry did you buy that smith fieldmaster grain trailer 😳 fine yoke never mind them oul herron or kane half-pipe bean tins 😅won't be hard get silage rims out smith s in carlow fine big load the smith s bring I use them an braughan trailers contractor I work with down south east grate video 📹
I think smith field master is pick of the trailers out there. Built very strong. Broughan very close behind. Think the northern trailer manufacturers have slipped abit. Although I do like the look of the redrock.
Class video as always gerry very nice to see some pit work !!
Yea for a change. Only very short bit of action though
Great video, Gerry. Take it you'll be going canny with the big tractor 🚜 to protect the chopper?
Yea don’t push it. I turn off the boost and don’t let it up the power bar too hard. If did it bust the harvester
Great video, gerry and good to see that you got your crop of good quality silage in
Gerry, I think the reason the harvester clogged is because the row extended out to the outside of the reel and beyond. I have a 900 and have seen that. It never clogs with overrun on the inside of the reel, but will happen on the outside. It seems harder for the grass to be pulled in from there.
Well done Gerard enjoyed ur video tractor & machinery look really good 👍
That was a great video of your sliage video lad and class video of your sliage 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
👍👍💪💪🇮🇪🇮🇪🙏🙏
Why do all you Irish farmers fill at the wrong side ?
Good video gerry
Nice out fit. You keep it well maintained. How s your dad getting on?
Hey gerry..that was a nice smooth operation mate.nice looking trailers.take care and thanks for the Content ..
Thanks Steve 👍😊
Cracking video. Great setup. Keep up the good work
Would you ever see yourself using a wagon instead of the JF?
Take it u never have back filled with JF like you used to do with the old double chop harvester
I always look forward to your silage videos, seeing the JF in action. Did you replace the older silage trailer with the Smith? The Field Master is a beast of a trailer.
Great Video Gerry, A very well organised chopping day, thanks for sharing
Why didn’t you buy silage extensions for the smyth trailer
did you not listen too the video ? they have them but they are getting modified as where too high
😄🚜👍
Some setup Gerry 👌🏻
