John deere 1640 Loader Control Valve Reseal Part 1
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
The loader control valve on our john Deere 1640 was leaking so in part one of the two part series I run through stripping it down.
Hello, I'm Lance (aka Bundy Bear), and doing these videos is my hobby. I do own Queensland Tractor Spares in Australia where I sell parts and offer technical advice to customers.
Parts seen in our videos can be purchased from www.queenslandtractorspares.co...
We have a lot more than we can offer on our web site available to us and in our store. If you don't see what you would like please email info@queenslandtractorspares.com.au or call 1300 850 097 and we will help where we can.
I do try and help with technical advice at bundybearsshed@gmail.com if you have a question or are having trouble with your project.

@@BundyBearsShed Btw do you know how to identify the model of pretty old hydro cylinders of tractor loader. Arm set cylinders engraved "1186" on the body, bucket cylinders engraved "1573". That's the only clue I can find. If I can figure out the model, then I can find the kit to real if need to do it. Thanks in advance
I run into that when I put a new valve on my 1020. At an idle the engine acted like it was under load and the valve sounded funny. The John Deere guy told me to check that, sure enough, the relief was set too low. Keep smilin Lance, another good video. PS If you want some snow I can send you some, lol.

Call it " Bushhogging" in Alabama . I have my original valve for my 2010 JD . The feller I got it from put a joystick in place . It was under a hundred bucks , so not too bad for a get by

A joystick would be handy at times.
Thanks, very informative video! A used replacement valve is about $400.00 if I can find one, I think I can repair mine now!! john in Oklahoma, USA!
