This guy is an interesting character in music history. He never imagined that the band he joined would make it big, and he never dreamed of a long career in pop music. But during those twenty years he spent with Queen, he managed to create a whole series of groundbreaking songs that not only became chart hits but also added something completely different to Queen's music catalog. If it hadn't been for the enormous amount of mutual trust and talent in this band, it is quite unlikely that John Deacon would ever have written any of these amazing songs. He would probably have become an electronics engineer and dropped his music career in the early 70s.

@@deborahallen3318 I'm not sure he does now. He probably did earlier on. I read an interview Brian May and Roger Taylor and they said they email him with information about all projects new ideas. However he never responds (they are opened apparently) and they take that as approval. I agree with Roger, it's sad he no longer has anything to do with them. Brian said he didn't handle Freddie's death very well.
