When it comes to incorporating effects on bass, John Davis is perhaps the most important musician of his generation, developing an effect-riddled bass vocabulary anew, stemming from his love of synth-bass tones and electronic music, which spearheaded the redefinition of the instrument in contemporary jazz genres and beyond.

John Davis is one of the smartest musicians on Earth, pay very close attention to this guy. There are very few living people nowadays that actually know what they are doing with music, and John is definitely one of them. God bless.
