John Cena Snatch & Squat | Ep.64 PART TWO
Спорт
WWE Superstar Sheamus aka The Celtic Warrior here... PART TWO of my John Cena Brave Change Workout. PART ONE involved a tough Warm-Up & intense Stretching... Watch it here: • John Cena Warm-Up & St...
Did that mean John was going to go easy on me in the Lifting segments of this session? Did it hell. My Snatch is terrible but Cena & Hard Nocks South coach Rob MacIntyre didn't let me off, they pushed me, and rightfully so... at least my Squat is not all bad.
We shot this on New Year's Day but that was no excuse, John Cena takes no days off and neither does... Brave Change.

@@jk47Ssb True and most guys dont do these olympic weight lifting compound movements. Im the only guy at the gym that does clean and press. Compound movements are what builds strength and power. Overall body development. Even Bruce Lee did mostly compound movements such as the clean and press. I need to start doing the snatch again.
Imagine John Cena as your training partner. You’ll just see a floating bar.

It’s amazing to see Sheamus being coached. As big and strong as he is and still being coached like it’s his first day ever working out (AND HE STRETCHED WITH CENA AND THAT ITSELF IS A WORKOUT) it goes to show that anybody who works out doesn’t know everything and they can always learn and improve

Sheamus obviously hasn't done Olympic lifting before. So how would he know anything about it? Weightlifting to get big is nothing to do with Olympic lifting. You can get huge and never do an Oly lift.
@alexlochrie6769
5 жыл бұрын
Because Olympic lifts are all about technique, and are coached and learnt mostly from a young age. Doesn't matter how big or strong you think you are, if you don't use the right techniques to get the weight up, you'll do yourself an injury, even with light weights. Think of it like a sport. A professional footballer (soccer player) couldn't just go and play rugby or vice versa.

What made this so good was; it really showed vulnerability to learn! This is something a lot of people don't realize is important in fitness. This also shows the importance of flexibility and mobility.
Things I like about this is - they are training like partners. Cleaning the equipment, stacking the plates on/off bar, learning what the exercise do and many other things. Just a simple display of two friend in a gym having a good time that simply what anyone wish for.

John grew up doing Olympic lifts. Football lifts are: squat , powerclean, deadlifts and snatch. Those are essential for football and ofcourse you need to be able to bench press too. But Olympic lifts strongly correlate with football training and he played in high school and college so his technique is top- notch cus he’s been doing them his entire life

You can really tell this is John's way of meditation. His workouts are very mentally driven, he's calm, collected and focused. Thanks for sharing this vid!
The Celtic Warrior and Prototype!! Awesome motivation workout. Remember "Get in, get out get better and get back "
Sheamus, I started Olympic lifting when I was 66 (January 2019) and I found that in the snatch, there is so much to think about ... my coach told me that it'll take me 10,000 lifts to get it down pat. Some 18 months later, I'm beginning to think he was right. There are so many parts to that lift, it'll blow your mind trying to THINK about doing it right. You are a great guy!!
Cena would be a great personal trainer 💪💪
