In this episode of the "Declare War on Fear" podcast, I have the pleasure of sitting down with John Cameron to delve into the themes of leadership, revival, ministry, and the vital role of family in all these settings. Together, we explore how strong leadership can spark spiritual revival, open new doors for ministry, and strengthen families. John shares his valuable insights on facing the challenges of ministry with courage, while I offer my perspective on overcoming fear and building a culture of faith. It's an inspiring conversation for anyone interested in spiritual growth and leadership development!

There is definitely a hurting generation that are disenfranchised with the model of church that exists. I love what you said about not speaking from our hurt, but I think on the flip side it’s just a reflection of the new era of communication those feelings and sentiments were previously outworked through small rooms in isolation from the congregation but now they gain traction because it is a widely shared opinion/experience, rather than being offended by the hurt of others I think as leaders we should posses the maturity to analyse the trends and see the opportunities for greater ministry. People are desperate for real discipleship and authentic connections tied to a sense of personal mission that is championed by their spiritual mentors and church leaders. Love what you’re doing God is doing something new.

@@ISavant There was no investigation. The report that Charlotte Cummings did was simply a summary and interpretation of things that a group of people said. People from anywhere. There wasn’t any check on whether these people attended Arise. The original board didn’t implement an investigation. This whole season was a stain on the Arise board of that time. Their review process went nowhere and uncovered no wrongs. Whether there were hurting people or not we will never know because their voices were drowned out by people with other agendas.
