Morgan is right Christ Teachings are meant to move with the times. That why He taught in parable so they transcend a time, place and socio-economic setting. However homosexuality is not a new phenomenon, it existed in Bible times (sodom n gomorrah). This type of relationship is not accepted because it goes against the blessing given to mankind in the Garden of Eden which is to be fruitful n Multiply, like everything else God created. N homosexual relationship cannot bring about multiplication. Since natural instinct is too survive, human being are not being natural if they do things that will end thier species, even Richard Dawkins talks about the selfish gene which allows species to ensure thier survival. Why is the greater population bei g forced to accept something unnatural.

To me, this is just their way of trying to squeeze it in. Meaning, any person who is gay and/or any person who supports homosexuality can find out what the bible really says about this. If man is willing to make medicine to keep the HIV virus at bay because homosexuals want to sleep 😴 together, then you know that this is a sickness that man wants to live in and keep alive.

I stopped watching him when some one asked Joel "is Jesus the only way to heaven? What about all the other religions are they going to Hell?" And Joel said something like, all paths lead to a better place and punishment" Joel absolutely denied the teaching of the scripture. Adrian Roger's said to the president of the United States this answer "my very own son will go to Hell and face judgment is he doesn't ask Jesus into his life"

Osteen surprisingly spoke accurately in this very brief clip. But Osteen is a notorious slippery fish on many an important Biblical topic, so much so that Bible believing Christians find him greatly dis-ingenious upon examination. Osteen preaches a prosperity gospel and his life is evident of that belief. He has his reward now as he lives in his mega mansion. There’s been studies on his sermons. Osteen doesn’t hardly ever preach about sin and proper repentance. He uses his pulpit to promote positive feelings and his prosperity gospel scheme (the selling of his get rich in this life marketing books). And since most of his revenue comes from his book sales, he feels exonerated to live a life of the wealthy. He has his mansion on earth now, not much need shown in his action towards storing up treasure in heaven, when he’s already got the treasure on Earth.

He is the one who can free you from the sins of this world. Remember he is the way the truth and life, no one comes to the father except through him. Religion is fine, except when it isn't. Christians should stop preaching heresies and blasphemies about homosexuality, as the scriptures addressing it have a CONTEXT. Without it, one "tells the truth while telling lies" (my quote). To understand the “men sleeping with men” (MSWM), and related scriptures, two analogies are helpful: 1. “An ax murder isn’t about the ax.” 2. There’s a “distinction with a difference” between “homosexuality & homosexual,” and, “heterosexuality & heterosexual,” each one. It’s why homosexuals often have children the old-fashioned way (heterosexuality), and incarcerated heterosexuals often have sexual relations with their sex (homosexuality), for example. With context we’d learn: Why heterosexual men are their exclusive focus; why women play a tangential role; why Ancient Greek custom, and Ancient Roman law, condoned male homosexuality under certain conditions; why death was proscribed for practicing it under limited circumstances; why the biblical references to “man’s inhospitality to man” includes heterosexual males illicitly “knowing” men and women (“carnal knowledge”/rape); why the prophets were concerned about homosexuality; why beginning in the 12th century the Roman Catholic Church started falsely teaching that the Sodom & Gomorrah story was about homosexuals; why neither the word ABOMINATION, nor any term as harsh, is in the original Biblical documents, which were written in Classical Biblical Hebrew, Ancient Aramaic and, in its first translation, in Kione Greek. Etc. Understanding those specific scriptures requires knowing something about those languages, the problems of translation, literary devices, the history of sexuality in the Ancient Near East, Ancient Greece, and the Ancient Roman World --- the areas in which the anthology of biblical stories take place, and the biological prerogatives of human sexuality. Theologians, ministers, and lay people must do the demanding work to discern truth. With due respect.

Like literally to me they only reject homosexuality and turn it done because everyone else wants them too and because their followers and society frowns upon it and it’s labeled as “uncool & not right” so they have to be against it too because everyone else is against it and no! Lol no that’s not how it works. You can’t pick and choose what to be and not to be progressive with.

That is _your_ choice, and I will support your right for that choice til the day I pass on. However, it is not right for you to demand others believe the same way you do to "get with the times." The Bible is clear on what is sinful and what isn't. However, we're all sinners is what you may not understand. You get to Heaven based on faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. Period, that is it. There is no disqualification as long as you meet that criteria.

@@freddie171 Hebrews 13, in context of "brotherly love"(relationship SPECIFICALLY between MALES), marriage is honorable unto all and that only whoredom and adultery defile the bed. Paul mirrors this in Romans 12, where he literally says it is honorable to prefer one another in brotherly love. Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Also supported in 1 Tim 4, where Paul warns against searing the conscience of each other and forbidding marriage. The law concerning who can make a vow with who, states that you(law addresses men) can make a vow with a male or female, so long as they aren't prostitutes. Hence why only adultery and whoredom defile the bed. There is zero scripture condemning homosexuality anywhere. Unless you judge ignorantly by appearances, which false "Christian" apologetics seems advocate. All their apologetic nonsense actually surrounds whoredom to false gods, and not an actual homosexual relationship of any sort.

@@stevemclendsy9478 I know what you are implying. That because God supposedly wrote an Old and New Testament, that His word is somehow supposed to float along and change with the world. But the world belongs to Satan (until Armageddon), and Satan wants every single one of us to die in sin and not accept God as the ultimate authority, and be condemned. But God's word and righteous decrees never change and it is impossible for God to lie. God didn't create the New Testament, man did. All of it, the Christian-Greek scriptures (Old Testament) and the Hebrew scriptures (New Testament) are all God's word, and everything fits and supports the early and the newer scriptures. Roman's 1:26-32, which condemns those who practice homosexuality, among all other egregious sins, to DEATH, is in the so-called New Testament. Same with Romans 5:12 from the so-called New Testament... That is why, just as through one man (Adam), sin entered into the world and death thru sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned. This is a direct connection, making reference to Genesis in the so-called Old Testament, where Adam and Eve, who were perfect human creations of God, and who would have lived forever on Earth had they not sinned. They CHOSE to disobey a direct command from God to NOT eat the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad, and the penalty was the loss of perfection and eventual death because Eve believed the first recorded lie from Satan, when he said... you positively will not die, instead of God, and Adam believed his wife instead of God. They both started to die on the same day that God pronounced Judgement on them. Adam and Eve sinned and were banished from the Garden of Eden before they had any children, so sin and death spread through all their offspring, right down to this day. That's why we grow old and die. God's Kingdom is the cure and we can get there if we accept Jesus as God's son today while there is still time, and whose perfect blood bought back the perfection for sinful mankind that Adam lost, and repent so as to get our sins blotted out, and enter God's Kingdom on a restored paradise Earth, either thru surviving Armageddon or being resurrected if we die before Armageddon. Either way, we are saved and written into The Book of Life, provided that we accept Jesus as the way and the truth and the life that reconciles us back to God, and repent and cease from practicing sins, and we will be able to enter God's Kingdom and live forever on a paradise Earth. Psalm 37:10, 11, 29 Giving up disgusting sexual acts today in order to live forever, is a small price to pay.

I guess it will be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for Joel Osteen and all the rest of these charlatan prosperity preachers to enter the kingdom of god huh? I also wonder? When Joel Osteen and the rest of his fellow cherry-picking, buybull thumping hypocrites are going to condemn adulterers with as much hate, as much vocal noise as they do against homosexuals. For the bible? Also gives the same death penalty punishment for adulterers as it does for homosexuals and the bible? Actually condemns adultery a hundred verses to each single verse against homosexuality. And another interesting thing is? Jesus never ONCE spoke against homosexuality, but he sure did against adultery now didn't he? But you would not know this with the lack of condemnation by Christians against adultery. Maybe it is because? They all have huge logs in their eyes because they are adulterers, or supporters and defenders of adulterers, like say Donald J Trump while they scream about the motes in the eyes of homosexuality.

He must also take an offering of a tenth of an ephah[a] of barley flour on her behalf. He must not pour olive oil on it or put incense on it, because it is a grain offering for jealousy, a reminder-offering to draw attention to wrongdoing. 16 “‘The priest shall bring her and have her stand before the Lord. 17 Then he shall take some holy water in a clay jar and put some dust from the tabernacle floor into the water. 18 After the priest has had the woman stand before the Lord, he shall loosen her hair and place in her hands the reminder-offering, the grain offering for jealousy, while he himself holds the bitter water that brings a curse. 19 Then the priest shall put the woman under oath and say to her, “If no other man has had sexual relations with you and you have not gone astray and become impure while married to your husband, may this bitter water that brings a curse not harm you. 20 But if you have gone astray while married to your husband and you have made yourself impure by having sexual relations with a man other than your husband”- 21 here the priest is to put the woman under this curse-“may the Lord cause you to become a curse[b] among your people when he makes your womb miscarry and your abdomen swell. 22 May this water that brings a curse enter your body so that your abdomen swells or your womb miscarries.” “‘Then the woman is to say, “Amen. So be it.” 23 “‘The priest is to write these curses on a scroll and then wash them off into the bitter water. 24 He shall make the woman drink the bitter water that brings a curse, and this water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering will enter her. 25 The priest is to take from her hands the grain offering for jealousy, wave it before the Lord and bring it to the altar. 26 The priest is then to take a handful of the grain offering as a memorial[c] offering and burn it on the altar; after that, he is to have the woman drink the water. 27 If she has made herself impure and been unfaithful to her husband, this will be the result: When she is made to drink the water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering, it will enter her, her abdomen will swell and her womb will miscarry, and she will become a curse. 28 If, however, the woman has not made herself impure, but is clean, she will be cleared of guilt and will be able to have children. 29 “‘This, then, is the law of jealousy when a woman goes astray and makes herself impure while married to her husband, 30 or when feelings of jealousy come over a man because he suspects his wife. The priest is to have her stand before the Lord and is to apply this entire law to her. 31 The husband will be innocent of any wrongdoing, but the woman will bear the consequences of her sin.’”

I find Joel’s teaching a rather positive message and I don’t see him as an evangelist but I do believe he has a place in the body of Christ for the work he is doing and the Philippians 4:8-9 mindset he is imparting to his audiences.

A question: Some Christians say homosexuality or living your homosexuality (so does this preacher) is a sin. Sin is a disobey to a "divine rule". Where in the Bible is God saying that he is putting a rule against homosexuality or homosexual life? In Leviticus the Hebrews made up their rules to be different to the Canaan’s in Canaan while expanding in the land, and to give their human made rules more impact in difficult times they called them “divine rules”, but they are not divine. Or in the Corinthian or Roman letters of Paulus, he declares in a very confused way his rules to his communities to keep them together as they were about to break apart in the else wise cultural Corinth. Also, he declared his rules to “divine rules” to give them more political impact, but they are not. So where?

Amen, Rev. Dr. Davis.

Look up Kissing Hank's Ass. Anatomy lesson: The heart is a special muscle, a living pump. It's purpose is to circulate blood round the body via the blood vessels thereby distributing oxygen. No one says anything in their heart, thoughts form in the brain which sends signals to the muscles of the mouth and tongue and those affecting the voical chords via nerves. The heart being the seat of emotions originates in what you would call pagan mythology.

Funny, I like to ask "what makes us think modern sexual practices are progressive?" Actually they are totally REGRESSIVE, back to the days of pederasty, orgies and hermaphroditism as described variously in the royal courts of Philip of Macedon, Anthony and Cleopatra, and Caligula. Refraining from such behaviour, requiring that humanity rise above our base animal lusts and passions, IS canonical progress.

Unfortunately Roshan, we can not pick and choose to believe portions of the Bible; we need to believe ALL of it. We believe all of the Bible because in it God tells us that he loves us sinful human beings so very much that he sent His Son Jesus to live, suffer, die and rise for us so that we could be with him in heaven. That is why God tells us that his words “are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:31). Have a blessed day.

And, he and other Televangelist will. They preach what will, in the end, put $$$ in their pockets. Homophobia and transphobia are rampant among Evangelicals. He is giving his followers what they want to hear. Let God be true, and every man a liar. Joel Osteen is right on target. Not only does The Bible tell us gay marriages are wrong, but they are also invalid across America: The Constitution clearly says; Marriage is recognized between a man and a woman. Everything else is invalid. Not only is it invalid, but also an abomination before The Lord.

LMFAO. Really? I wonder when Joel Osteen will abide by Jesus command to the rich man? You know, go and sell all that you have and give it to the poor and then come and follow me?

@@atheistmilitants7283 .... Mmmmm sounds to me like you have a lot of hatred in your heart as well. You ever heard of, " He that is without sin, let him throw the first rock ? " James also tells us, If you offend in one part, you're guilty of all. I myself, I'm guilty, I don't throw rocks. But more important; Why are you so focus on Joel Osteen or these other prosperity preachers ? Are you jealous because they have money and you don't ? If you had that kind of money, would you give it up as well ? I also noticed, you haven't said a word about Abraham. Careful before you open your mouth. It's a very dangerous thing to talk against Abraham. The bible tells us; Abraham was very rich in silver, in gold, in maid-servants, in man-servants. Sounds to me like he was very wealthy money wise. They had so much, the land couldn't contain it. Abraham told his brother Lot to seperate. Go get your own land. Abraham had so much land, it was beyond what the eye can see. Joel Osteen and these prosperity preachers don't come anywhere near Abraham. I mean Abraham was very wealthy. You see how silly your argument is now ? You're listening to jealous people. Or you're listening to people who will look under every rock ad behind every trash can, looking for fault. and if they can't find fault, they get upset cause they can't find fault. I would say, live your life before God, and let God deal with those bad apples.

@Benz "God never changes" Your religion is literally based on the premise of Jesus pulling the "I'm not saying it's aliens, but it's aliens" memes and "Not Abolishing" the law in word alone only for his followers to throw out the parts they don't want to follow anymore.
