I know by now to not give up on John. People thought he was too old 10 years ago after Nemiroff and thought his reign might be done...he has still dominated pretty much nonstop since then. I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps up with the big boys until he is 60. The question is whether or not he wants to continue putting in the effort to do it.

I feel so great watching john's any match of his... Whether he wins or loses, doesn't matter. That guy has a certain aura about himself, for sure! So powerful and dominant, yet so humble! Unlike Devon... I hope john remained like this even nowadays... But that's not realistically possible. Because ageing and the changes it brings with it, is a real thing! John still competes at this age so gracefully.... One can learn so many things from that man! 🙂💪

I'll never understand how this man slayed so many giants. The best I can come up with is the fact that he started at such a young age, with an arm wrestling father who taught him technique and table IQ when he was just a kid. He broke his arm in 8th grade while arm wrestling one of his father's friends, so clearly he took the sport seriously all his life. Undoubtedly he was born with good genetics, but so are all these beasts he competes against. Who knows. It's really almost superhuman. I know 49 year old grandfathers. And this man was still beating hulks.
