He was mad because he thought Brzenk and Jerry faked a match so Brzenk would be fresh for Todd and they would split the cash once John won. Whether that's true or not, I don't know, but Todd asked Brzenk later if he would have won normally, and Brzenk said normally Todd would have won. Mrs. Todd later posted on social media about what they thought happened (in response to the hate), and that's basically why Brzenk doesn't really like Todd and they are no longer friends.

This video is so good it almost made me cry...no jokes. John is an amazing person and role model whether or not you like arm wrestling. He has been dominating a sport for 25 years like nobody else has in any sport at any time in history. All the while he was doing this as the smaller warrior slaying the giants with both arms. He is just incredible...as soon as you think he might be slipping with old age he comes back with a vengeance. I can only hope to be 1/100th of the man John Brzenk is.

King Willie Not really. Todd's "technique" exists in finding the extreme angles that are hardest to finish off. He couldn't lay off the table down and win. He got absolutely mauled in the hook and almost got his arm ripped off trying to wait things out. He couldn't win back. He couldn't win forward. He couldn't win up or down. He just got whomped. John absolutely dominated him.

Testing123 I heard Todd just came off a rough match prior. I would like to see them go when he is fresh. Todd is strong from other angles as well, just not as strong. He has taken down some strong players with the hook though and like I said, he is a bad mofo whether John dominated him that day or not. I would be willing to bet John agrees with me.

  • @saltedllama2759

John just whooped him. If you've ever seen them at the side tables during and after events, John usually beats Dave. Styles make fights; Michael Todd has creamed Chaffee whenever they've gone at it too. People need to remember that Brzenk also owns a winning record against Cyplenkov and Todd. Who can claim that? There are just some big guys he has figured out when everybody else struggles with them. A healthy Devon Larratt is about the only guy who is well rounded enough to take everybody.

d4rkb0wk0er No he wouldn't. Certainly not in a super match format. I mean, Larratt did what Cyplankov hasn't - smoke Pushkar in a super match left handed. Pushkar then went on to CRUSH Bagent a few months later left-handed when Bagent was 100%. I think Denis would win the first pull, because Devon almost always yields the first one. Reason? He knows he has the endurance to outlast anyone, and he can learn from the first pull. He then claws and grinds in the second, eventually getting Denis out of position, and wins a long match. I could see a 100% Devon Larratt going 4-2 or even 5-1 against Cyplenkov left-handed.

Jason Colbeck lol are you kidding me, pushhkar has almost never beat cyplenkov right handed while cyplenov is right handed, now left handed he doesn't even stand a chance, why are you even using pushkar in your argument, everytime i watch a video of cyplenkov against pushkar, i feel bad fo pushkar for almost never winning while they arm wrestle with eachother so many times

Reidar Skofteby Thanks my dear friend; athlets as this gentleman must have more public exposition (specially for kids and youngsters who are looking for "row models" to follow ). He speaks and acts so diferent from other "sofamousathlets". I am trying to learn as much as I can; I am just a simple fan, who likes to do exercise, and likes the technique of "arm wrestling" (sadly I am probably to old to start, but in good spirit..).For a pro opera "heldentenor" like me, is only a daydream to develop that kind of strength. Thank you again. best regards, John Schofield.

brilliant video fave scene has to be at the 3.28 the opponent on the right goes down to the floor full weight and Mr Brzenk just watches the opponent and casually watches and waits. at 3.51 Mr Brzenk switches on like a machine and takes his opponent over the top!! great stuff
