We miss you so much John😢❤
I was listening to him talk about Loch Lomond and the way he talks about how special the song is to him, and how it makes him think of his family, it's just beautiful
OH MY GOD. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. John you are amazing. Keep up the work and keep being FANTASTIC!
Shit, that ending! I adore this song and he did an absolutely beautiful version. Gah. He gets more amazing by the minute!
John Barrowman You Can Always Cheer Me Up
I saw him live a few days ago in Edinburgh and it was WONDERFUL! He also sang Loch Lomond, it was a ballad version (so slow) and my gosh it brought me to tears! He started out singing it soft and almost a Capella but then went on singing out in full, so powerful. And he did in a kilt too! He is so proud of being Scottish. He used his own Scottish accent throughout most of the show. Loved it!
That last note. Oh my god.
Just love this man so much he is fabulous that voice of his is fantastic xx Scotland has a special place in my heart and always will xx
What Great talent.. He has the most perfect voice..
Coming from a Scottish Herritage, this song has given this Aussie girl goose bumps while listening to this............ Thank You SOOOOOOOO MUCH for sharing .......... You take the high road, I'll take the low road...... and I'll be in Scotland before ye ;-)

I'm already there 😭😭😭
If anyone else had dared mix those two songs in with each other I would've hated them but when he does it, it sounds so amazingly beautiful. I always loved the song Loch Lomond, it's one of the songs my grandmother used to sing to me when I was little and it brings back such wonderful memories. And Amazing Grace has always been one of my favourite songs so to hear them both sung by my favourite performer is awesome. Thank you so much for this. I'm gushing, aren't I? Only JB has that effect on me
This piece is so beautiful. Best example of his singing I've heard. And the arrangement is just lovely.
What a beautiful voice........... JB is totally beautiful inside out! Thanks for posting this lovely live song..........
It's so strange to hear both "Grace" and "Lomond" with that old, Golden Age Hollywood musical sound, but it's so brilliant. His voice has this gorgeous ringing quality to it, and it's just brilliant to hear. Such a lovely sound, and wonderfully talented man.
Wow, it's great!!!! He sings sooooo beautiful !!!!!!!
The blending of these two musical styles in the way John does, brings shivers and a sense of relaxation that I haven't felt in a long while. So much so, that I can almost smell the heather ( My diad used to bring some home when I was ill.) Thank you for this video, rekindling my memories of the past joys.
I never knew John Barrowman could sing and I accidentally ran into this video while watching some other Doctor Who videos. Man he's got a great voice, I wish he'd come out with some of his own songs, and make lots of albums. I'd be so excited I'd by them the first day they came out. He's amazing.
Cant stop listening to this
Wow; He does so good at this song..
If I could sing...this is how I'd want to sound!
i love you for putting song on you tube!!!!!
I kind of wish he was using his Scottish accent.
Wow! Love him! Seeing him at Salt Lake Comic Con this next Saturday!
This is most likely found on the internet by searching with the usual "torrent" engines. JB sang this combo at a BBC radio Christmas concert first aired on 22 December 2006. He had previously sung it at his cabaret concert at Arci's in NYC in February, 2002. So, he's been singing this duo for awhile. It is quite lovely, and in a way shows both his heritages, the Scottish and the American.
it truely is beautiful...he has such a beautiful voice =)))
This is beautiful and I love it. John Barrowman is such a talented individual. But it will never stop weirding me out when he sings 'before you' instead of 'afore ye'. I know it's perfectly legit the way he does it, it just wrong-foots me every time.
actualy love this! im scottish and its like... i dunno? brings a tear to a glass eye ;)
aww, his accent changes !!! so gorgeous
omg that fantastic
I love when he puts on a Scottish accent
Why, why, why does "Loch Lomond" sound so hauntingly familiar? I feel like I've heard it before, but for the life of me I can't figure out where.....
Truly beautiful!
this is a beautifull song :')
oh sweet jesus
Thankyou!
supercool..
I figured out that the choir my sis was in sang it when I was 11.
That was amazing. Where in the world did you find it?
@diizzyfiizzy aw
I find the mash up of these two songs kind of odd, though I adore them both.
Oh my goodness. This is just beautiful. Where did you get this song if it isn't on any of his cds?
@Katey2004 Well he does have the song "What About Us" and lots of albums. Check out my channel for the rest

@lovertojackharkness Which Album has the song "What About Us" on it?
Where did you find this? I've looked all over.
My only complaint is that the audio is cut off so abruptly at the end. WHY?

That's just how I came by the audio track.
I love me some Barrowman. Although, this would have been better if you could've heard more of his Scottish accent.
I just found out John Barrowman from Arrow is Gay & he can sing and I'm fucking pissed. He should not have such a beautiful voice. His should be getting more credit than what he gets. He is an amazing actor and singer. I still couldn't believe he is gay but hell can he adopt me ??? He is such an amazing person I cried hearing this

The man is fabulously talented, but I'm not sure why you think he's not getting credit. He's an international star with a *massive* following. Apart from his feature film work, he starred in his own dramatic TV series for years (Torchwood), hosted a weekly entertainment show (Tonight's the Night), had recurring roles on some of the most famous shows on television (Doctor Who, Desperate Housewives), has starred in a ridiculous number of West End musicals, and has more than 30 vocal album and audio drama credits. His concert tours draw crowds in the thousands, and he makes dozens of convention and public appearances each year. He also writes books and audio dramas, and is currently hosting a weekly radio program -- all of which means LOTS of people are familiar with his work. When Arrow debuted, I had no real interest in watching the series until I heard John Barrowman was in it. He was responsible for getting me (and a lot of other people) into the show! And one more thing to blow your mind -- he's actually Scottish (though he uses the American accent for most roles). His native accent is delightful. :)

Jb sorry dude you confused me and usually it's DT that confuses me and you know what DT I'm talking about I will give you props for that when I do like the song I just wish you didn't confuse me but I will say the Captain Jack is one of my favorite characters out of all of them don't get me wrong I still drw means Doctor Who. Drw means
@1kissbee hmph yeah. and i know this annoying kid named jacob bruette. :( but def. John is our captian!!!
Nope :(
Captain Jack, no. Just no. We love you, but singing highland classics as if they were American Christmas songs is just wrong.
