John 3 summary

‪@BibleJourney22‬
In John chapter 3, Nicodemus, a Pharisee and member of the Jewish ruling council, visits Jesus at night. Jesus tells him that to see the kingdom of God, one must be born again of water and the Spirit.
Jesus explains that God loves the world and sent his Son to save it, not to condemn it. Belief in the Son leads to eternal life, while rejection results in condemnation.
Jesus and his disciples spend time baptizing in the Judean countryside. John the Baptist acknowledges Jesus as the one who must become greater while he becomes less.
Jesus, the one who comes from above, speaks the words of God and offers eternal life to those who believe in him. However, those who reject the Son will not see life, as God's wrath remains on them.
