It’s verging on embarrassing Chris! Plus, I noticed in Harry’s video the result says Bracknell AC next to my name… which must mean I registered for a barcode in 2015 or earlier! (Have been AFD since then)

Well done on your first parkrun, I love parkrun it open for everyone from elites to walkers, congrats!

I have been watching and liking your videos for a while and was showing them to a friend this weekend. We both commented that it would be great to see you do parkrun and here you are doing it! You seem to get the parkrun ethos completely, well done you. :) A video of you and Ben Is Running going for it at a quick parkrun would be something to behold.

Thank you Ansel! I really wish I’d got myself down to parkrun sooner but it was definitely worth the wait, I just know I’m going to meet some awesome people as I continue to tick off some parkruns around the country 🥰 That sounds like a call to action to me, see what we can do 👀

watching this before Harrys video. first of all i love how your sunglasses are upside down on your hat. the weather at the end 😱 i think you need to do some parkrun tourism

Love this type of content. And you've just got to love Harry. Also, how long warm up should us ordinary folk do so we're primed and ready to go.

Thank you! For a 5k or upwards I’d say aim for 1-2 miles very easy jog just to loosen up, and add a few dynamic drills/stretches on the end

Loved the video but loved you wearing a team GB top even more 😂 Top draw. Next week please turn up in full GB kit, alphaflys and blitz the field 🙏

Haha not sure Alphaflys would’ve helped in this one, I did see a kid wearing them though! Think I’d feel a bit too self conscious in full kit 😂

My first ever parkrun was at Reading, fast in the dry.......WET in the wet 😂

Haha yes I can attest to that, I must come back in a few weeks when the ground has hardened up!

I'm glad to have a local parkrun here in Canada, but I'm jealous of the community over there! Here, we're lucky if we can get over twenty people to show up (especially in winter 🥶) but it's great regardless.

Welcome to parkrun I am a parkrunner myself and ran 20 parkruns myself. I watched Harry's video with yourself in it and wish I had of known you had done one and I would have watched it.

Phily I love your videos, there way cool. Your so so fast, you are, your awesome Phily. I wished and wished for ages to be able to run a 10km in under 40 minutes. Had the goal for years and years. Usually ran 10km 42/43 minutes. So badly want to ran under 40 minutes for it. You Phily would stroll that, you would stroll it with barely a sweat. (Phily) Had kidney stones removed, so badly want to run under 40 minutes for 10km.

Phily It was much move painful running (with kidney stones) especially in the heat. Yesterday ran 6.97km in 28 minutes on treadmill. Although I do seem to ran faster on the treadmill than on the road. Next target to do in gym, is to ran just under 8km in 32 minutes. Phily, that was so funny, 7:57, that was so funny. Your watch saying it was unproductive. Lol, If you ran a 10km at 39:58 etc, just under 40 minutes. Would your watch say unproductive for that. 😭 Because Phily your that so fast, that so fast you wouldn’t break a sweat for that.

Would be cool to see you smash one of these out at full noise.
