Flame Swordsman in the manga and in the early anime was just a regular monster before it was changed into a Fusion for some reason.

The first season of Yu-Gi-Oh! didn't have consistent rules because the card game IRL didn't even exist yet, and even when the real card game came out, it didn't have solidified master rules until the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's era. It's better to think of the early Yu-Gi-Oh anime's card game being more of a tabletop role playing game

@@TobiaSR32 In its first appearance in the anime, it has the fusion card border, but it's later changed to the normal card border. Probably because it's a pretty bad card as it is.

Bro I still remember Joey’s duel against Marik he gave it everything he had to rescue Mai and he was still standing after the Wing Dragon of Ra attack him and he was so close to winning but he fainted and seeing everyone’s reaction especially his sister Serenity broke my heart!

I never watched yugioh as a kid, I was much more interested in Pokémon and dragonball, however I started playing Master Duel cause of you Doto and I blame this new addiction entirely on you.

The Master Duel content never disappoints 👏

This is a great video idea. It would be awesome to have a series where you go through one of the anime seasons with their structure decks or some approximation of their deck in that specific episode. I wish Master Duel had an ante system so you could actually lose cards, would make doing the battle city season more immersive. Either way love seeing these non optimal duels.

Marik had game when Joey had an empty board and he had like Bowganian and another monster on his side, yet he didn't attack just to torture Joey with his burn card

I love these duels . More more fun to watch than that all high speed 6 minute long turn bs. & btw seeing all joeys cards in this decks makes you realize how they did make him a 3rd rate duelist with a 4th rate deck 😭😭😭 He’s still cool tho
