I love how rhyme was sitting there, two blue eyes in hand and still thought “hmm, imma wait til I draw this ONE card”

I knew Rhyme was gonna fucking fumble the bag the moment he pulled a Vegeta. But man was it entertaining

Going first was better in OG Yugioh for 2 reasons. 1. You got to draw a card at the start of your turn going first. 2. You got to establish a board without worrying about cards like Trap Hole and Torrential Tribute.

In OG Yu-Gi-Oh going first was best because you actually started with 6 cards regardless of going 1st or 2nd. Setting trap holes and sakuretsu armor with la jinn, 7 colored fish, Gemini elf 1st turn while wait for Jinzo Mobius or Summoned Skull on turn 2

I hope you guys stick with this up to the actual modern stuff, hopefully that will help you find new and fun strategies and decks you might have never even heard of, that will boost ur love for the more modern way of playing as well

@@randomsamurai3855 You can't use an incomplete deck. You need to somehow obtain the banned cards like pot of greed which isn't possible currently

When I think of Yugioh, I think of big brain plays, pain and suffering, DPE, and looking at decks trying to figure out which waifu deck I haven’t built yet

Yes! I watch the other progression series from Cimo but I am all in on one featuring the three idiots. And set Sangan and pass is why going first is better.

Structure Deck duels are always fun with friends.

This video was fire, especially with the Exodia end to the first duel. This really brings back memories to when duels were more simple. Keep up the fire videos Rhyme, can't wait for the next episode,

Hopefully konami lets us craft banned cards since even after the update you still can't craft cards like pot of greed painful choice etc. Also going first was better there was rarely when going second was better

@@rhymestyle honestly I think they might implement some sort of older formats into the game and put those cards into packs or they just forgot to let us craft them. It is konami after all

this sounds really cool, old school yu gi oh was my favorite and having a series like this will prob be perfect for finding the perfect balance of old school with new school, before things got really crazy.

As a huge fan of progression series and the three idiots I love this. I think it would be cool to see both players go over their deck really quick though, to see the thought process. Looking forward to more! As for the question about my favorite card, I wouldn't really be able to decide. Maybe Book of Moon, because there are so many different things you can do with it.

These games are so good! Me and my mates have been doing a semi similar thing where we use structure decks from the game but we are allowed to add 5-7 cards

Long time favorite card of mine is Silent Magician Lvl 4/8. I got the promo versions from Nightmare Troubadour and they were a mainstay in my deck ever since. Really glad we got the new cards back in 2016, but I'd love to see future support for the Silent monsters.

As for the favorite card question, it's not an OG card but Junk Warrior has to be my favorite card in the game. He looks really cool and has an awesome effect when used properly! Though the junk deck hasn't aged extremely well, it still has a lot of power and Junk Warrior is only a small percentage of it!

Fav card of all time is actually Masked Hero Koga for me. He's such a beast of a beater, he saved me countless times in the old games. Although recently, i think Shining Neos Wingman will become my new favorite

Favorite monster is probably Shooting Star Dragon so it'll be a while. Though I haven't actually made a proper Stardust deck yet.

In OG Yugioh you go first to set you traps and counters down and negate whatever the hell your opponent wants to do first. You want to go first, never second even if you have an OTK deck. There are still set ups and combos you need to do and set up your negates.

Bruh, Doto actually summoned Red Eyes Black Skull Dragon. Actually my favorite card in the game, I had an action figure of it growing up. I hope it gets a retrain some day that gives it a useful effect, cause it's such a cool card.

Back in the day you got to draw a card going first so it was preferable to get a what was needed out. Favorite card of all time is pot of greed. Card advantage that even the knock off versions are powerful.
