Realistic answer. Hes a reseller in overseas markets. Cheap crane arcade figures goes for easy 20-30 usd at conventions. Some goku figures fetch easy 40-60 usd

My figure collection started off with a 1/7 scale Kirito figure and now I have almost all of them plus all the other charters from SAO season. ALSO i would sell everything I have to get my hands on Noragami figures. Noragami is my second favorite but they only have like 3 figures out there.

Like it or not SAO is a big seller in stores. My cousin owns a collectors shop and had a rare Kirito and Asuna statue he was selling for $250 each. Told me he'd give me one for $180 if they're still avaliabe once I get out of work. I punches out at 5:00 from work and got to his shop at 5:27. I said "I'll take the Asuna statue". He said "Asuna sold 10 minutes after I posted it on facebook and Kirito just walked out the door at 4:55". It was my fault because he told me he would hold it for me if I wanted him to, but I told him to just make the bigger sale if someone gets there first. He gifted me the Asuna statue for my birthday so I was happy in the end.

This is probably a unpopular opinion but I really liked the sao progressive movie that came out recently and I think in my opinion it's the version of sao we wanted it was truly a masterpiece

Basically when you decide to adapt the novels faithfully and adding anime original content to flesh out the story and characters from the source materials instead of......whatever happened in Alicization. And yes, progressive is indeed peak SAO.

Probably bulk distributor Its the kind of business you start by opening a pre order, then you contact the store directly from phone or backdoor deals, then the store will accept the order after giving some discount to you Once its done, you or somebody just need to send the money when the item is on the store warehouse to have it send to customer location In short, dropship Just business thing, the dude probably some courier being told to deliver the money & receipt to the store Or just a kirito nut, even 20cm or biggest kirito figure ever known are costing around 200U$ If its not a 1/1 scale & 3 of them, i dunno how much item he bought, especially during covid rationing, scalpers are not kindly accepted from store owner point, but buying 3 item is acceptable
