This was great show. My family loved watching it, I hope they can revive this show or movie both the mother and son years later like a 20 years later.

Always wondered where the producers would have taken the show had there been a Season 6.

The producers didn't know the show wasn't being renewed for season 6, so this wasn't planned as the series finale. Nonetheless, I think it turned out better as an ending than it probably would have had they planned a huge epic finale.

I wished they did a scene between aiden and Melinda mother ( aiden grandmother) and aiden asks her why she ignores her gift.

Jesus this kid killed the entire fucking series. Wasn't even an acting kid, just some director's child they put on set.

I actually liked it. An actual fight would have made the show look like Charmed. Aiden has always had a higher state of awareness, his calm demeanour even in front of what her mother has become, is a sort of anticlimax, and makes this finale much more interesting imho.

Saved his mama loved this show

What an anticlimax! The previous 21 episodes all lead up to this battle, which comes out looking like an afterthought, lasting about 10 seconds. Small wonder CBS canceled it and ABC wouldn’t pick it up.

Doesn’t matter, that’s how it turned out. Unlike the previous four years, there was no plot line introduced to carry into the next season. The defeat of the shadows effectively brought the show to an end.

Season 5 the last episode

If I remember it correctly, the mother can't even see the children spirits, probably as they are light. It makes me question one thing however as a Catholic -- the original sin and the baptism. I had to assume that these were all baptized and died coz I would feel rather disturbed if it was otherwise.

Why show a clip? What's good about showing 2 mins of a show?
