The teaching from Turner (and his son) to not focus on aiming but focus on the movement of the release is truly something to listen to if you want to increase your shot quality. I've done it, and my shooting has really improved. If you study what he teaches, you will find that he recommends a very light bow setup so that your body can more easily move it to center at the last millisecond before the shot breaks. Sounds pretty interesting and counter to what has been taught over the years. If my release process is consistent, I shoot way better even with quite a bit of pin float.

This is genius. I love shooting a thumb button but suffered from not knowing how much pressure to place on the trigger shot to shot and for me to overcome this, is to make the release as light as possible. Just going to have to purchase one more release this season...:)

Preload on the button has always been my downfall for a button release. This makes perfect sense having a click to preset your pressure on the button. Wonder why nobody else thought of this a long time ago!!! Glad to see Stan has come out with this amazing revelation to an already awesome release!!! 👍👍👍

Now, that is a handheld I might possibly try. I personally struggle pulling through the shot. Because of the movement in my anchor point. Even though it's just a very small movement, it still messes with my shot. Awesome review.

Can we get an crossbreed with a hinge motion to the click, then thumb pressure to fire? That would be the best of everything, I use the click as a "here we go" but also I know that everything is lined up form wise when it clicks as a point to pull from.

Anyone who has built true trigger discipline can feel the wall before the brake on a trigger, but so many guys can't because basic marksmanship aren't there for them, so this product is so needed in the archery community

So with this release, you are continuing to squeeze the trigger after the click? Is that what he meant by a single digit manipulation? I use a hinge quite a bit, and I roll the release to get it to break cleanly, just wondering if thats what he is suggesting we do with this release but with the thumb? Squeeze to the click, slowly squeeze further to get it to fire

I Agree with JJ that there needs to be a wrist strap🤷‍♂️ used a wrist strap release for years and after a couple seasons of running a thumb button it’s annoying having to pull it out of wherever you store it on yourself before you can get ready to draw back on anything which can easily result in missing your shooting window

I bought a Lanyard that you use to secure a camera or whatever to your wrist, a 5 pack was like $5. It works great. You attach it with a loop ( there is a hole in the release) and then slide the piece on the lanyard to tighten it to wrist. 👍

Honest question here but how is this not punching the trigger? Ive seen a lot if his videos over the years teaching shooting and this seems almost like punching to me? Whats the difference in pulling slow with one finger on an index release? Im genuinely curious as im trying to take my shooting to the next level. I use an index release and am looking to go to a thumb or this click thumb release.

I don't believe this release will help anyone with target panic and/or trigger punching. Might make it worse in reality. If you are a disciplined thumb button user, this could be great for sure. If you are a thumb button trigger puncher and/or have target panic, this is not going to help that.

The man said in the video the most efficient method to firing a thumb button release was by slowly squeezing the trigger with the thumb, “single digit manipulation”. He also says take your time, focus, and ignore all distractions! This could be the part that helps eliminate target panic.
