I literally balled my eyes out it was the sweetest thing seeing him cry and at Blackpool for his nan 😩😭 bless him 10s well deserved just wish Craig could’ve given another

This was absolutely incredible and deserved the score it got!! Joe is not a natural at dancing and has to work so hard but he does put so much work in!! He works so hard to not let Dianne down and you can tell that they really enjoy dancing with each other! Their reaction at the end of this dance shows that this means so so so much to them. They should be so proud of themselves, I cannot wait to see what next week brings 💗

Do you guys like her son Mark Ballas? He’s one of the pros on dwts. He’s a two time champion who last competed with Lindsey Stirling on season 25. They were runner-up to Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold. Just thought I ask since you seemed to be fans of his mom. :)

I'd never watched the show before this year, but when Joe announced he was going on it, i knew i had to give it a go. Now i'm absolutely hooked. Strictly truly found the perfect match in Joe & Dianne. Strictly is my nan's favourite show, and saturday night we watched together and she stood up and applauded Joe at the end of this. She absolutely loved him. It feels amazing that Joe has brought a new wave of viewers to the show and has also won the hearts of the avid watchers who probably had no idea who he was before the show. He's broken the generational gap! Surely he's a contender for the final now? Right? :D

Spot on. I'm not Joe's demographic at all (far too old!) but watched some of his video's to find out what he was about, now I'm subscribed and catching up on some of the back catalogue. Hope he wins!

Favourite part of the whole thing is at 1:40 where you see Shirley in the the background she looks so happy for joe and honestly he deserves those 10s so much you can see how much he’s worked for them!!

They do that with lots of dances, especially the QS, it's so they can see the footwork properly. Bruno has done it since the first season. But Shirley's hands in the air cheer is definitely because she likes it!

That was the funny part.

I was absolutely dreading him being on this because i thought he’d be awkward and like he was far too cool and trendy for it all. I was properly dreading the comments from my parents every week- “he doesn’t even have a real job why is he here ?” But you know what he has absolutely shocked me. So humble, professional and lovely. And he’s really worked so hard which shines through in every dance he does. I’ve actually got to the point now where my dad said last night “I’m gonna stay to watch Joe’s one and then I’m going to do the washing up” and my mum is besotted with him too. So well done Joe for proving to the UK that not all KZreadrs are bad people, and for representing the younger generation so beautifully. Could not be prouder ❤️❤️❤️

Finally! A good Quickstep without a gimmicky pop song! This was such a classic styling with Dianne's headpiece and his coattails... I love it! This is my favorite dance of his so far. Such a comeback from their Samba last week (IMO, it wasn't all that great)! The footwork was quite tricky, but he still maintained a steady top line throughout. Just like the Quickstep should be! If I were to comment on one thing, I would say the break in hold was a little annoying. He was so good in hold, it seems like there would be no need for that little gimmick in the middle! But it was there... and detracted just a SLIGHT bit from the quality of the dance for me. Still his best, and I cannot WAIT to see what he brings next week. 9.5!

I can see why this was such a crowd-pleaser. There's nothing like an old-school Quickstep in formal dress to put a smile on my face. And yes, I thought Joe was on point throughout. He had perfect posture, head position, and dance frame in hold, his footwork was clean from what I could tell, his expression matched the mood and tone of the dance and the music, he led Dianne perfectly -- the only thing I wasn't a fan of was the hold break in the middle. That's a no-no, and Dianne knows it. If she hadn't put that in, I think this routine would have gotten a 10 from Craig as well as from the others!

Lee Cox Yes! That’s what I was saying. I hate hold breaks in Quickstep... especially when you have a celebrity that is so good in hold! Argh, this was almost perfect!

Honestly I know it's been said before but for someone who has NEVER danced to achieve this level of prowess in Ballroom in 9 weeks it's phenomenal. In hold you literally could not tell him apart from the professionals dancing aside him; this dance was gorgeous and should easily seal him a place in the finals. I've heard a lot of chatter about him getting through on fan support alone but with a dance like that there is no way anyone can argue his place in the competition. I'd go as far as to say Joe is now one of the best Male Ballroom dancers in strictly history, and for anyone who doesn't see why this was so fantastic just watch the dance through looking at his footwork alone, brilliant!

Well! I was NOT ready for that! Dianne packed a lot of content in that dance! Execution was flawless, Synchronization was superb, love the jitterbug/charleston moments! Yeah his best dance thus far and my first 10 for him! Great Job!!

Omg, I started crying when they finished dancing and cried more when the scores were revealed because I’ve watched Joe for so long and I’ve never seen him emotional like that, I looked to my left and saw my Mum crying and she said, “I hope he wins!” And coming from my mum, who danced in her past, high praise! I seriously want him to win. If you compare him to Ashley whos had dance experience,its incredible. He works SO hard, and this is what strictly is all about. Hes progressed so so much i cant get over it. He deserves to go through to next week so badly.

came here after this year’s blackpool for the #nostalgia and i’m just so gutted we lost dianne (and dev) so early this year, i imagine they could well have made it to blackpool and pulled out a routine that would’ve absolutely won the night - i miss her choreo and her beautiful personality in the competition but can’t wait to see her smash it on the christmas special w/ joe 💗

I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE PROUD IN MY LIFE I CRIED

As someone who has watched Joe for five years now I can honestly say that I have never been prouder of how far he’s come. Not embarrassed that I openly sobbed throughout his entire judging and scoring.

This had to be my favourite dance on Strictly 2018!! It was absolutely flawless and I honestly was bursting with pride for him. The pressure on Joe this week was far more then for anyone else with his nan and family there and he must have felt so nervous doing this having completely forgotten the routine during block through but he absolutely smashed it. And I love what Dianne said "It was so sweet when Joe was emotional because he didn't want to look at the camera. It was really real. It was the realest emotion of real and you made me cry when you cried" And we all cried too bless him.

I’ve watched and loved joe for over 4 years and to see him dancing his heart out at Blackpool tower, smiling and getting the incredible score of 38 is so surreal. He never really shows that much emotion or personal stuff in his videos so seeing him do his nan proud and getting emotional is so nice. I’m so proud of what he’s achieved through his whole strictly experience, truly deserves to win ❤️

The piano bit was the bit he was most excited about and it looked great from where I was sitting. It added some character to that dance especially for Blackpool.

This reminds me of Rose and Jack at the 1st Class part of the ship,

For Wiltshire, for the West Country, for England and Saint George! For dear Nan and Granddad Chippy, for Mum and Dad, and for Zoe! For Caspar and the You Tube Boy Band. Joe, you and Dianne brought it home! And did it looking mighty fine. (You should wear White Tie often. Very becoming to you, Joe.) How both vigorously athletic and delightfully elegant that extraordinary performance was. Say, how was that for an introduction to Blackpool, people?

Aw! I would like to think the Strictly costume department actually read our KZread comments (I can only dream!). When I said Joe was dressed like a child with loose clothing in his rainbow Waltz routine (which made him look malnourished) and suggested that they should dress him according to his body shape, the following week Foxtrot they did so and he looked so much better. Last week after his Samba I said Joe, if he’s doing a ballroom in Blackpool, should be in tails. And tah-dah! He’s in tails! I love them when they are in ballroom hold. No gimmicky silly lifts (not allowed in QS). He has swing (AND sway now!) while he is leading this dance as well. Beautifully dance. The only little picky bit I have would be their side by side on the piano. I know it’s in keeping with the lyrics of the song, but it exposed him and he looked slightly hesitant while he was doing the piano bits (he was alright when he repeated the steps away from the piano keys though). His best ballroom dance by far! 9 (could have been 9.5 without the piano bits)!!!

I respectfully disagree the piano added something extra to the dance without it their quickstep would be quite plain and not unique in any way! A thousand times 10!! Joe you amazed us all. Perfect shoulder lines and the footwork was fab! He truly is a ballroom man💙

He got three 10's and got an ??8?? from Craig?? The piano bit was one of my favourite bits to me it added to the character of the dance. He led with such conviction, this was a perfect quickstep.. I got emotional by the end of it 😪

I think Joe found the ballroom dance made for him. This was perfection.

At that section in the middle when dancing in the middle of the others I honestly could not tell him apart from the pros, he’s grown so much and he’s soooo incredible, 100% deserved them 10s!!❤️

One of my all time favourite routines. 2018 was a great season with one of the best and most closely contended finals.
