i love how satch is so great at squealin' on the high strings and frets so consistantly. like 19-22 on E and B strings. no matter how poor the rig or what mood he's in. he can do it like 98% of the time when he wants.

Saw joe live in NYC once, he pointed at me in the crowd... I forget which song they broke into improv on but they were rocking at 150bpm trading solo's between joe, Eric Johnson and his rhythm player. He very difficult to follow when they improvise like that.

@Inginitto Don't know. He isn't using the wammy pedal, because you can't see his thigh moving up and down like you usually do when Joe does a wammy. He's probably using the wammy dial thing(one of those white dails near the edge of the guitar) and, obvoiusly, a wammy bar.

@Inginitto it's like this one guy saying the same thing about the skin on his snare drum (he bought one gavin harrisson uses). it's simple - you don't have the rest of the equipment joe has... guitar, cabinets, amp heads and a bunch of top notch production is behind his sound :P

exactly! I don't listen to electric guitar much. I mostly listen to classical (Chopin, Rachmaninov, Bach, Tchaikovsky, etc), but what do you recommend that has a similar style to this song by Satriani? (i.e. slower, melodious, etc) Thanks, Tony

Something is wrong with Joe -in this video-, I just don't feel it. He plays this song with more energy at San Francisco. He will play in Perú (South America) in three months, I hope he will rock the arena. Love, Joe.

@NeverBandProject i don't have the money for it, it almost ruined me.. and getting the cab was a hell.. cause you can only get them from ebay or other aution houses and 90% only ships within the UK or the USand im live in europe :P
