April 10, I was at my brother's door, we had not heard from him for a few days. I called him to let him know that the new Satriani album is on Spotify. He didn't open. We called the police and they went in. They found him in bed, he died. This track was on in the car when we got to him. Cannot describe how much this song does to me.

Possible my favorite track from the album. Only wish the solo was longer.

So glad Joe released this album at this time. Lot's of time to enjoy his work at home with no distractions from the outside.

That melody is stuck in my head now, it triggers every time I start pondering about the unknown.

What drives my mind is the passion, and fear in this time. A thought...a video of Joe playing this piece with a back drop of projected scenes of front line workers. Moving from farm, processing, distribution...passionate scenes. Then to nurses, doctors...strong stuff!

Joe said in a video that he wrote the song thinking about someone saying something like "I'm just gonna say that I'm sorry for everything I did to you, and now I'm just gonna leave you alone so you don't have to deal with me anymore"

This is one of those albums i have to warm up to, those are often the best ones!

One of the few tracks I know that you can easily improvise over and truly make your own from. Especially the solo parts. Thus a great backing track in its own right!
