He definitely felt like he was almost knocked out fighting Usman and then Leon actually knocking him out made Colby scared to be reckless and shoot. Ended up getting his leg messed up and then he finally had the courage to take him down.

It’s so weird how after the press conference everyone was like “is Leon gonna keep his cool to be beat Colby, he could get emotional and get knocked out or taken down” But after the fight when Leon DID keep his cool and stuck to the game plan (which was the right thing to do) people are like “Leon didn’t do enough you’d think he do something after what Colby said about his dad” Honesty can people just give Leon the respect he deserves

Disagree - Leon was just a really bad match up for Colby. Colby’s style only works if he can use his volume striking to close distance and chain wrestle. Leon’s distance management, speed and movement was just too good for that - every time Colby tried to close the distance he got stung with kicks or punches that clearly hurt. So much so Colby started biting laughably hard on Leon’s feints. And then when he did get close Leon was good enough and strong enough to not only defend his take downs, but also reverse some. That left Colby with no path to victory and so he fought like a beaten man.
