Shoop that scenario is why the founding fathers preached about not entangling the U.S. in pacts or alliances that could drag us into war. Similarly to How World War 1 started... we shouldn’t have 130+ military bases across the globe, policing their boarders, their streets, and rebuilding their infrastructure after wars. Gxsmxsk76 He could be a wacko vegan though. They are everywhere nowadays. It’s funny to me though as vegetarianism was practiced culturally and religiously for quite some time now but even back then they understood that being vegan isn’t a viable long term option. While there is evidence of vegans being healthier than the average person in North America, it is most likely due to our average unhealthy, gluttonous eating habits. Sure cutting out red meat and eggs may lower cholesterol, there’s certain nutrients that can only be found in animals/animal byproducts. They may be healthier for the first 10 years but mark my words within the next few decades we will see the drastic damage caused by long term vegan practice proving it to be a non viable lifestyle choice.

And the precondition were why there was no meeting for thirty years. If you were going to meet with someone and they set us as preconditions how you should dress, what your opinions should be, what you were going to discuss, how your life should be run, what type of car you should drive and that you delete all your other contacts and cease interactions with them you would say no, so you can be sure a state entity should not even entertain the idea of engaging in talk under that level of blackmail. There is nothing to negotiate if you give in to everything just for a meeting only a truly corrupt or mentally challenged leader would since that is not negotiating in good faith by any stretch of the imagination.

There was no “we’ll think about disarming” or anything, just a meeting that has gone nowhere. We are back to where we were with NKorea having gotten something it wanted. Just look at past talks with China. Past presidents have tried to deal with China, same problems Trump is dealing with, and we got goose egg for it. China for legitimacy and skirted around enforcing the laws we desired and we got zip. Those talks and meeting could have been used as leverage, NKorea has wanted them for decades. Instead, with nothing to gain, we went into these talks and asked for nothing.

My grandfather would go on international “vacations” and war would break out in these places while they were there or almost as soon as they came back. My uncle was a “meteorologist” during the Vietnam and Korean Wars... My uncle didn’t know the difference between stratus and cumulonimbus clouds when I asked him about them when I learned about them In EIGTH GRADE! He was no meteorologist. This guy reminds me of my grandfather and uncle.... Take the screws out of his back and he’d have some stories to tell. It was a shame, but my grandfather told me EVERYTHING he could remember near the end of his life. Despite or maybe, thanks to his dementia. My uncle would never open up to me. A “company man” he towed the line until he died. But my grandfather told me that he was involved in similar programs to himself. With all that said, I’m very suspicious of this dude. Ex-UN. He really is being optimistic. When the GDR and FDR reunified. The East Germans, yes were behind West Germany in many aspects. But having lived in the former GDR and having been to the DPRK a number of times since 2002. The North Koreans are even decades behind what the east Germans were in the 1980s. While its also true that China and the DPRK are allies. Today the Chinese leadership see the North Koreans as more of a problem than anything else. I remember a few years ago meeting a retired official in Beijing who said North Korea makes China look like a free and democratic state.
