Eddie Booth I think the sentencing practices were so disturbing to Tommy, that he felt compelled to report on them the day he was arrested. 6 weeks is to long to wait for disclosure of sentencing; but it is widely reported from other people that 6 months is the average wait for such cases. Some of the convicts have actually even been released from prison before their sentence was revealed.

It's a disgrace. I left England in 1998 and it was already bad in my city and many others. I did have some excellent friends who were Muslim so it's not the majority by any means. The problem was that the reason they gave him for arresting him was reporting on confidential information relating the case and putting the people involved in danger, only problem was everything tommy was saying during the live stream was coming directly from a report in the public domain and was all public information

In previously holding Yaxley-Lennon in contempt the Court had concluded that he committed a contempt of court in three respects: first, by breaching a reporting restriction imposed under s 4(2) of the Contempt of Court Act 1981; second, by live-streaming a video from outside the public entrance to the court, the content of which was found to gave rise to a substantial risk that the course of justice in that case would be seriously impeded; and third, by aggressively confronting and filming some of the defendants in that case as they arrived at court, thereby directly interfering with the course of justice. Those were the reasons given for why he was in contempt of court. Filming aggressively outside of the courthouse was probably one of the main reasons and the fact he had been arrested several months earlier for doing the same thing and warned by a judge not to do it again. Not sure why TR supporters don't understand the simple facts.

Contempt of Court IS illegal. Tommy isn't a journalist. If he was he would know the rules for reporting on court cases.

All he is 'highlighting' is his bigotry, ignorance and immense egotism. He isnt sacrificing anything. He lives for the approval of his far right community and the silly story he has about his own importance. He has zero qualificatons for teaching anyone about any culture/religion. He barely understands his own cultural history. All he does is manipulate similarly uneducated and inexperienced peoples lack of knowledge to tap into their fears and cynicism so they become as confused and emotional (and potentially violent) as he is prepared to be. He doesnt fear extremists because theyre so different to him, he fears them because theyre so similar. All you have to do is switch the heritage and skin colours around and they have the same basic worldview.

You can film outside a court house.
