@@2xd1000 You could go to Turkey and get a transplant for under 5,000-10,000 (depending on how receded your hair is). The hairline most likely won't look that realistic but you can grow your hair out and wear it down and no one will have any idea.

Depends on your Donor area. If you have no donor area there is still no hope then. If you have a thick beard or lots of body hair you can transplant that too. I did it for corrective surgery from horrible transplants in the 1980s. Still far from perfect. Would never shave my head. Did in one time and wanted to end my life. Never again. There is a lot of truth to Samson & Delilah. I can testify to that one!! :)

@@geminidb65 How did that turn out? I've heard mixed results about using donor hair from anywhere but the back and sides of the head. Is it actually convincing? I know in my particular case my beard and body hair looks way different than the hair on my head. It just wouldn't look natural, hopefully they'll figure out how to replicate hair follicles soon so people won't have to do that.

I was so Disfigured by the surgeries in the 1980s that it was either wear a wig or do this as I looked like a burn victim with all the Flap, Scalp Reduction, Punch graft and strip surgeries. . I was forced to wear wigs for 14 years. I am on a program that takes a DNA test and they formulate a serum and oral tablet that uses Dutesteride which is proven to grow hair. It has a Money back guarantee. I am seeing a very small improvement and will wait till the end of the year. If I do not see a good result I am going for one more Transplant as my Doctor said he can do one more but very little grafts left. For me any improvement is a win. It is a fucking bitch to keep up a shaved head. Multiple passes, water goes everywhere, you have to use a mirror to shave the back. Occasionally it is nice, but if you want to keep it fresh, doing so daily or every other day, it is taxing.

I seriously thought about hair transplants, until I read some online reviews from people who have had it done. It turns out it's almost always way more expensive than they initially say it's going to be, and a lot of the time, it doesn't even take. So instead, I just bought more hats. Still, if someone came out tomorrow and said that they found a cheap and effective way to regrow hair, I'd be on it in a second.

@@liamward6649 no one with more than a type 3 max type of baldness will have amazing results. At best you'll get light coverage and look like you are balding instead of bald. The other guys will keep on balding. My friend was a type six. There simply isn't enough hair to cover that amount of loss. Anyone going bald should wait until the pattern of baldness becomes clear. If its too extensive forget about hair transplants. If it's just a bit at the sides and it's stable at that after 4 or 5 years maybe have a think about it. He had two but he's a type 6. Waste of money if you ask me at that stage

Hair transplant depends of how bald are you, BC they transplant your own hair from one region to other, that's why Joe would not recover his hair

1:30 it does really fix it now lol I covered a pretty big spot with only 3500 grafts , in your time survival rates for grafts were really low , now we can achieve up to 90% graft survival rates on the recipient area , and there is no single guy who wishes to be bald , I dont see anyone having full hair and shaving so cut the crap

This is an old video so Joe probably knows more now than he did when it was aired, but liposuction is about shaping the body, not about losing weight. Everyone's fat distribution is different and you have no control over where your body stores fat, you only have control over how much fat you have overall. For example, unless your body stores a freakishly small amount of fat over your abdomen, the only way to have abs is to have extremely low body fat percentage (lower than what is healthy). An appropriate use of liposuction would be to reduce the amount of fat over your abs, but you can't still be overweight and expect abs.

Joe thanks for talking about the hair transplant I wish you would cover it more but I understand sometimes it’s necessary to not make a big deal about it. It brings back that moment of insecurity someone feels then they sign up without being given all the information. Many young men have gone into some very dark places due to this procedure with some very dark thoughts. I know of one guy that went to one of the same doctors I went to and fortunately his attempt with a .357 to the chest failed and he went on to win a lawsuit. Theo Von is a good guy he needs to be educated on the long term consequences before its too late. It’s sad to see more of the very young drawn in to it all. I have hundreds of other accounts of young men contemplating the worst after having had this procedure it's not a joke. If you have 100,000 hair and you lose half 50,000 the best you can do it place about 16,000 hairs in the same area which eventually looks terrible but nobody told you Joe. They left that part out. People that believe the procedure has come a long way don't understand the math. The math does not change and if you are sold a procedure without being given the math you are a victim of marketing fraud plain and simple. Those that promote this procedure without stating the numbers are also participating in marketing fraud.

I’m the exact opposite, when I shave my head my hair grows back 2 days later my entire life. When I reach my 80’s I’ll still have a full head of hair

Hair transplants in 2019 do work. Joe just mad he had one when the technology was poor.

And now Metzger has had a hair job.

I am 61 and still have most of my hair. At work, I was in a group of younger guys working and the big conversation was on balding. At one point they all took off their hats and all were bald. It was very uncomfortable for me. What the fuck are all you guys eating, or smoking to cause this problem with your hair growth, very disturbing.

I had a hairline transplant , I was a Norwood 2 now I’m a 1 and it looks great , how come joes didn’t work ? Is he saying it just didn’t grow back after transplant , or did it grow then fell out? I’ve never seen him with a good hairline so I’m assuming it just didn’t work

Been on it 2 and a half years and it has thickened the crown and slowed overall loss down but my hairline is since receeding sadly. Getting a bunch of sides from it too wish i didn't have to take it the shit is posion but have no choice really i want to keep my hair for as long as possible

I get no sides but its not as effective as I would like it to be. Strongly considering surgery. Hair loss affects so many facets of your life (how you are perceived at work / by women). Treatment is the only way to go. Especially now that it is a viable solution in 2019.

@@kpjlflsknflksnflknsa Treatment isn't the only way to go. Look into hair systems. Not only are the results better but you don't have to spend £15,000 every time to do it. Have a look into it

@@jontimmy3075 Try hair systems. I've been balding since I was 18. I use a hair system and I have better hair than what I had even when I had hair. Great results and don't cost an arm and a leg like a transplant.

@@michaelmyers4847 The results look good enough but I do so much sport; swimming and gym. Plus I think there is a stigma against men who use them. Not many girls I know (as I young guy, I can tell that girls are superficial as fuck) would be with a guy using a hair piece. I'm glad it works for you though bro and that you're getting the desired result.
