I put the last bit of money I had into my roofing company that I recently started. I’m living out of my work van, eating pbj’s, and sleeping in a hotel if I made some money on a cash repair. In the past week I’ve picked up a huge commercial roof claim and signed contract, along with a residential claim with a contract signed and a 25k remodel. Please don’t stop pushing. I believe in you.

I know people will say I'm stupid or weak or whatever. But I listen to this everyday and have for a couple months. I was taking pills and black out drinking everyday. Now I don't take pills I don't steal or drink. I go to counseling once a week and go to AA or NA twice a week. I lost 25 pounds. I don't hate myself anymore. This helped get me on the path to change my life. And to the people who made it I can't thank you enough. You guys should also listen to Nick Diaz how bad do you want it.

But Joe himself has really helped me become a better man. I started BJJ at 40, stopped drinking alcohol, started meditating, and have lost 25 plus pounds.

I’m 72, self employed for 42 years as a carpenter/contractor and still at it. But lately, I’m struggling. I’m tired of it. Yet, I see my retired friends....all retired but me...and they are deteriorating physically and they are grouchy. I know that work keeps me in touch with reality and physically healthy. The struggle of late is I’m pushing through a vinyl siding job...in winter. The fight is against the cold. Boots get wet, wind in my face, constant nose dripping. I’ve got another 3 weeks of this at least and heading into the coldest time of the season. Joes words inspire me to fight it out and put in full days. Thanks Joe. I went through a horrible breakup and then I changed my life. I quit smoking, quit drugs and drinking, I learned guitar, I went back to school & got straight A's, I learned how to write better. I'm learning to worry about myself and not anyome else. I built a body I am happy with. I workout everyday. I am building for my future. Joe is like the dad most of us never had. I wish I had a father figure to show me the way in life, a mentor to guide me in the right direction, maybe then I would've avoided all of the mistakes that led me where I am today. Without people like Joe Rogan, Jacko, Jordan Peterson, Rich Roll, or many others with amazing podcasts, I would've never been exposed to such amazing people with incredible philosophy for life.

Been in a rut for over a year after breaking up from a girlfriend of 5 years. This video made me look forward to getting home putting on my running shoes and running until my legs stopped. I have been sat in my room after work playing video games and getting high now I am going to do a run each day after work and build on it from there slowly working my way into a better body. Is this the right way to do it I have a active Job and am on my feet all day with a long pole cleaning high rise buildings so my arms can't be damaged from working out because I then can't hold my pole for my job and I can't be to tired from running what's the best way to get into shape without killing my body

Dear Joe, From what I understand you rarely see or look at comments but I wanted to write this on the off chance you do brother. I am an Afganistan veteran that has spent a life time training to accept suffering. For those that don't understand war time type PTSD for many guys it is not the horrors of war that put them over the edge it is that they get so tired having to fight it every day. This weekend for the first time I was moments away from deciding I just didn't want to fight anymore and it scared the living shit out of me. For some reason my last my conciousness attack before I was doomed was to listen to this. I just wanted to say thank you Joe Rogan for talking me into staying. Sincerely, bdubs #joerogan

Engineering student pulling long hours this semester. I am so goddamn tired. I just want to sleep but stuff like this helps me to sit down and do the work. Edit 2 years later: This compilation in particular has been a constant in my life for a few years now, thank you for making it. Update - I came so close to dropping out that semester (learning disabilities and sleep deprivation broke me several times over). Kept showing up and I made it through by the skin of my teeth. Semester after my fiance left and I got really depressed and almost dropped out again. Put on weight but kept showing up and I graduated with a reasonable GPA and a couple of patents. Got into my preferred PhD program doing some really cool work with a really amazing mentor. Working on the weight and my experiments now. Going to get there if it kills me.

Everyone looks for that job with great benefits and then we decide to stay there the rest of our working lives. If it were not for the workers, these companies would not stay in business.
