Solve et Coagula It’s possible he meant the surname as well as Joey. Living in Texas (bordering Mexico) I’d assume he grew up around a fair amount of Hispanic and Latino people which is why it’s even more surprising to him that he never realized Diaz was a Hispanic or Latino surname and not an Italian one? I believe his stories.. I've seen and done a lot of shit in my life, that when I tell people the stories, I can see that they don't believe me. I was 3 when i first saw my dad giving himself a shot of medicine, years later I found out he was shooting heroin.

Joey is a classic old school storyteller and I come from an Italian family and there were storytellers and when they got started everyone listened because they were good storytellers and we knew what they were saying was true. I inherited some of that.

Solve et Coagula It’s possible he meant the surname as well as Joey. Living in Texas (bordering Mexico) I’d assume he grew up around a fair amount of Hispanic and Latino people which is why it’s even more surprising to him that he never realized Diaz was a Hispanic or Latino surname and not an Italian one? I can’t know for sure though.

Abakua is an ancient fraternity much like the Masons but the Yoruba version of it. It culture much like many fraternities was one thing and has changed throughout the years. The Abakua have their own music and dances. It’s tremendous stuff.
