Former recon marine here with a secret clearance,- I only mention this to add some credibility to my story. I either completely Hallucinated or saw the real thing back in 2017 while driving home in Pennsylvania. It was around 5 AM 12 miles south of Nichols New York. I was traveling 50 miles an hour and whatever it was stepped out onto the road in front of me, just on the white line, on the left side of the road. It’s waist was thin.it looked like the combination of a linebacker/swimmer with muscular shoulders, and Trap muscles. It was reddish in color, and my eyes were immediately drawn to it hand, which I could make out the knuckles on its palm. The hair was longer around the shoulders and arms than it was around its waist and legs. I merely took my foot off the gasand almost rolled to complete stop, just saying what the fuck. I don’t know what I saw, but it wasn’t a bear. I’ve stayed awake for an entire week before during reconnaissance training and never once hallucinated. I patrolled all over the world and never once saw what I saw that morning. I’m not special and I think seeing that or whatever it was is a curse because no one really believes you not even your own family.

While it is true that sightings are often unreliable evidence, there does seem to be some physical evidence as well. For example, Grover Krantz had a couple of plaster footprint casts that not only showed plausible foot morphology for a large primate but that had dermal ridges visible in the cast. An FBI fingerprint expert who had also studied Great Ape dermal ridges concluded that the dermal ridges in the cast were not human, were not Gorilla or Orangutan, but were definitely primate in form. While it is I guess conceivably possible for someone with sufficient expertise in anatomy, dermal ridges, sculpting and prosthetic construction to fake such footprints, it is hard to imagine a person with such expertise in anatomy and prosthetics running around the wilderness of the Pacific NorthWest putting fake footprints in the ground in places where most of the time no one will even find them. Sculpting believable dermal ridges is not easy. If it was every crook would be making prosthetic fingerprint gloves.

Fair point, but, IIRC, the 'expert's' analysis found the alleged ridges not to be human because they ran in a funny direction... that direction was around the edges, as they were clearly caused by the pouring and drying of the plaster. I'd love it to be true, but that's not making the case.

I've had an encounter late winter in 2016...but it was an accident...it was throwing rocks across the Colorado river at our campfire...I had nightmares for months cause at any second it could have killed us....it's accuracy and strength to throw those grapefruit sized rocks across the river was terrifying...heard it tapping rocks and making thumping sounds like Morse code or something...just weird encounter tbh and I don't like telling people about it cause it's just a strange unexplainable event that fucked with me for a long time...after sun came up and we could run out of there without tripping and impaleing ourselves on the short lil spiked trees the beavers littered the area with....we checked Google earth cause we thought mb we pissed a farmer off on other side of river but it was all national forest and river width was like 100 feet in that area....I've done my best to try and explain away the incident but to this day never really could make sense of what happened that night....was 12 solid hrs of torture trying to keep a fire stoked while something in the dark randomly every 30min to an hr destroys it....if we hadn't discovered that the oil shale rocks could be burned we would have run out of wood and and our fire would have been way easy to destroy....it hitting the water edge occasionaly soaking us made it all worse....couldn't get out of there soon enough and I dont go camping without my gun and a phone powersupply anymore....I never wanna feel that helpless again....

When I was 14 I lived in a small secluded town in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in Northern California. I was playing basketball at the park until around 10PM. The ride I was counting on bailed on me, so I decided to walk to a friends place to see if I could use her phone to get a ride. She lived on a narrow one lane street that hugged the canyon edge. The town and most of the streets didn't have street lights so it was very dark. About halfway down that road the hair on my arms and neck stood up. At that age I didn't get along with dogs at all. If there was a dog there was a fight, which is what I thought was about to happen as I would get that same feeling right before an attack. I stopped walking and got postured up and ready to go when I heard a trash can fall over much closer to me than I expected. At that moment I thought it's most likely a bear due to the fact they are a fairly regular animal to see in the area getting into trash cans. What came next is what I'm still unsure of to this day. A large upright figure stepped out into the road. If you watch the portion of this video where Joe is showing the bears standing and walking, you'll notice that they always have a bit of a waddle when they walk upright due to short legs and long torso's. Whatever was in front of me had a very smooth gait. One of my dad's friends at that time was 7'9" so seeing a person that size wasn't unusual for me either. Never once has a person made the hair on my arms and neck stand up like that. This was certainly an animal. It stood in the road about 15 feet away from me for about 20 seconds before cautiously walking across the street and then stepped (not hopped or jumped) but steeped over a 2 foot decorative railing someone had put up. If that was a bear, it was the most nimble upright bear that I've ever seen. If it was a person, they had some bad intentions that made me go on high alert in a way no other person has before or after. The thing I recall the most was the sound. Usually when you hear a dog coming down the road you can hear their nails chattering on the roads, bears are very similar is this regard. There was none of it. When people walk, you can hear their pants swishing or a zipper jingling or their shoes pattering. The only sounds, were the trash can, what sounded like light un-labored breathing and the bush it brushed against on its way into the trees. When I made it to my friends house I was wired from the adrenaline. To this day I cannot say for certain what it was that I had seen. Could have only been 0ne of three things. And no matter which of the three it was, it was intense.

When I was a kid my family would drive up through Northern California to Patrick’s point which is dead set in “big foot country”. I used to think if I stared hard enough through the trees I’d see him or her or it running from tree to tree. Fast forward to teenage- 20s and I laugh at the Bigfoot hunters on tv. About a year and a half ago at the age of thirty, in the backwoods between South Lake Tahoe and Nevada, me and my buddy were off-roading at about 11pm through the woods. Came to a stop so my buddy could take a leak and I hopped in the driver seat, all you can see is the headlights illuminating the trees, brush and dust that had been kicked up by the jeep, anyways I see my buddy kind of trip behind a rock off to the left side of the headlights and I started laughing and almost shit my pants when almost simultaneously the door opened and he got in the passenger side. He had been pissing behind the jeep and to this day I don’t know who or what the fuck I saw off to the side of the headlights.

I've talked to people from multiple regions around America, and I have heard identical stories about specific details from people who never met each other. There is something out there. I've heard the crazy screaming myself. It was no wolf or coyote or anything like that. The Bering land bridge... I've heard recordings on Rogan of alleged bigfoots talking. The dialect sounds Asian and they have used what sounds like some Asian words, they call it the Samurai talk that these bigfoots use. Maybe they are descendants of creatures who came from China over this land bridge and they happen to know some ancient rudimentary form of Chinese. And Flores man was about 50000 years ago, from the time of the Denisovans. And Gigantopithecus went extinct about 300,000 years ago.

I dunno, there are crazy shit in the forest. I lived in the mountains in northern CA, and I'm pretty shook about something I saw with my wife I cannot explain till this day. It was some white bat looking thing, the size of a giant dog. It was solo, flying with bat like wings, slow and heavy- but it was so large, I couldn't believe my eyes. If I was being honest, I literally thought I was seeing a dinosaur. After seeing that , I'm pretty open to other people's experiences- of course I know people bs all the time, but - shit actually happens too. Then again maybe it was just a large bat not where it was suppose to be - thats what I decided to believe it was.

Besides many, MANY other problems with the route these guys are taking in logic, the sheer urge to keep things moving for the sake of talking, saying just something... is part of the equation that ruins the chance for humans to understand anything controversial, let alone each other. Even Joe, who despite his recent slip up (it's going to happen-- he's human after all, and he'll make bigger mistakes as he's more wealthy and relevant)... I still knew this guy was much sharper than many were giving him credit for, and far sooner than anyone like Jordan Peterson finally noticed... but yeah even Joe gets careening off the rails with sometimes talking about "it" as if it's real and saying it's always liars talking about bigfoot, therefore he can't believe in it anymore. I get the feeling he is still undecided, which contrary to Schaub's typical symptoms of stolidity (overconfidence with taking a side), is still the smartest way to look at it. Not only that (and i've written this before), Joe makes the mistake of thinking we "know" bigfoot WAS gigantopithecus. Does he or many people understand the concept that a bigfoot could or could have been any one of all sorts os STILL undiscovered past species? All they did is find the fossilized teeth and parts of the skull for Giganto, and that IS, without doubt.... THE animal that bigfoot must be LMAO. Well how did THAT species develop? Anything possibly develop after that, maybe? How about before? Off shoots and branches before that, which developed into similar or even more human-like creatures? Well did they know giganto existed before they found the bones? Well then why does anyone think there's not more, or related and distant family or genus? WTF is wrong with people? Why so limited? (SIGH) What do I think? Well it's unlikely to still exist, as humans have made it quite difficult for anything wild to be completely undiscovered and/or wiped out unless we actually know what it is or we want to eat it. Those animals are kept around. However for these two (well... Schaub doesn't surprise me) to not see the way life actually works, that it's gradual, not cleanly categorized or completely known, to not understand that for primates to be in different continents, and for more and more fossils of hominids to be discovered the past decades, there MUST be far more variety of large primates somewhat related to other bipeds that DID exist... than they could possibly dream up... that you should never, EVER choose to just "believe" or disbelieve in something like bigfoot. Even if they were wiped out or fizzled out the past three hundred years, or thousand years, that would make what Brendan Schaub think totally asinine. Unfortunately many out there still think that way. It's not that somebody thinking bigfot the creatures don't exist today bothers me-- that's very understandable seeing how difficult it's been to get evidence. It's that Schaub and others out there say they think it's stupid or crazy to even give it a chance of possible, without clarifying whether they think it was EVER possible, went extinct within the last 300 years (because of how much of the animal kingdom humans wiped out) or if they think maybe something like a "bigfoot" could hav existed at one time, even a million years ago. He just believes "no way". That's so simple, and not the way life ever seems to work. But you go Schaub. Keep up the weird work. And you keep being famous of sorts, while I, and some like me who could have had a real conversation with Joe instead of just throwing one second opinions at the microphone, will remain anonymous and poor. Ahhhh life.

In 1986 I did see somthing " tall". How tall? Dont know it was 100 ft away at last light and there was no means to measure it. Anyways it might have been a bear but it did not walk like the one bear I saw on two legs . Then there was my dog . She was unable to respond to my command to sit as she had done twice before when a bear came nosing around camp. Then there were unsoliciated accounts of hunters fleeing the woods in fear after encountering the "tall brown man like thing" Fifty year hunters, killed dear and bear misidentifing these animals seem unlikley ! Locals having chickens and dogs missing without a trace. The owner of Walker Hounds giving a hart breaking account of the taking of his dogs befor he could get out if bed to see why they were screaming in fear in the early am hours. This is my story of 33 years post "tall brown man like thing" experiance . My take is this phenomena will not have a body or video to close this question. It will be in the mind of a theoretical physics undergraduate to explain how somthing is there for a minuite then disappers only to haunt and sometimes torment those who had a experiance .

Gigantopithecus Blacki was a real giant ape that coexisted with man in vast parts of Asia up till 75,000 years ago. It’s rediscovery wasn’t from a complete skeleton but from a jaw bone and numerous teeth. Fast forward to today, I’ve spent my entire life hunting and fishing across remote parts of North America and never seen a Bigfoot or it’s remains however, I do believe a highly intelligent giant ape offshoot does exist in North America and I also believe that people have indeed seen and in acted with these creatures.

I have spent alot time in Forrest up here , hunting, land navigation, backpack fishing for a week or so at a time. They just recently, ( last decade or so) discovered Wolverines in the Cascades. No skeletal/ record of these creatures...but here you go...a population of creatures have lived in the cascades without any proof... until there was. Almost anything is possible up here

A few years ago, my wife and I were in Yellowstone. It was before Memorial Day so the park was pretty empty. We drove past a car and saw what appeared to be a kangaroo. We both turned and looked at each other in astonishment. My exact words were, "If I were in a court of law and took an oath to bear the truth, I would say that I saw a kangaroo". At the first opportunity, I turned around and headed back to see what it was. It turned out that some people had an Irish Wolfhound and it was taking a dump and in its squatting position looked like a kangaroo. I misidentified an animal and that might be what's going on with Bigfoot (and maybe interstellar spaceships as well ;) )

It walked on two legs and it wasn’t a bear an ape or three raccoons in a conga line. My son saw it’s hairy back through the window and I watched it move along the deck and disappears round the corner of the house. Grey hair and insanely muscular back. This thing wasn’t anything normal. I’m not saying I know what this is but I know exactly what it wasn’t, it wasn’t anything normal.

Your response of not knowing what it was but knowing what it wasn't was the same reaction to my experience. It happened in New Hampshire on a cold, wintery night in mid-November. I was camping with our Boy Scout troop at the base of Mt. Monadnock. In the middle of the night I heard a single howl (to the east) that was verified by the Scoutmaster who also had trouble sleeping. Later that morning, around 5:30 while the boys were getting up, he and I (plus two scouts) heard a similar howl to the west at the base of the mountain. It was of no known animal and I'm comfortable in saying I'm familiar with the local wildlife. So I know what that noise wasn't of any animal. I just don't know what it was.

The difference between a bear walking upright and a bipedal creature is that a bear doesn't swing its arms. I know someone who saw one on her property and based on the details, I measured the branch that obscured it from the shoulders up and it was 8'. I know her personally and she is extremely trustworthy. I would argue that taking the position of bf not existing is too easy but the evidence is overwhelming in favor of their existence. There is exceptional video footage, countless quality witness accounts and even DNA evidence that can't be assigned because the species hasn't yet been confirmed and catalogued yet the samples were collected by those investigating bigfoot. Its unfortunate that there are a lot of loons that take away credibility. The Billy ape wasn't confirmed until the 2007.

My parents live in an area where there are black bears and I’ve seen them walk and they do not walk like Bigfoot. Could try Joe, and I love your show, yet they are so clumsy and if you see them out in the open there’s no way anyone makes the mistake between a big foot and a black bear. The only time I’ve ever seen a black bear walk more than 10 steps was towards another blackbear and they ended up fighting. There’s one major issue with what you’re saying and that is I’ve never seen a black bear walk backwards-step backwards. Be behind something and move away backwards while still erect. When you see that it is crazy. I can’t find any video of a black bear stepping backwards. The other thing is Bigfoot isn’t only seeing in the Pacific Northwest. Some people have seen Bigfoot in semi arid environments. People who are trained. I’ve never seen one, yet I do know a sharpshooter who served five tours in Afghanistan and Iraq who claims to of watched one for some time and he said the giveaways were the size of the shoulders, hands and the conical head.

Not only is a bigfoot fully mobile while walking but they have also been seen running or jogging and there is absolutely no way a bear has the ability to do that on two legs. And it was looking down at me. I slept with a gun under my pillow. And the next morning my dog {Husky lab mix} and 2 cats and a large wild racoon were all in a dog house on my porch when I woke before daylight. I moved from the property soon after.
