The Matthew Walker one is really good, you KNOW you ought to sleep a full night but he breaks down nicely why (huge cognitive impairment/double digit percentage cancer risk jump). The Rhonda Patrick and Chris Kresser podcasts have some neat nutrition stuff. Personal favorites are Stamets/McKenna/hamilton from vice, Duncan Trussel (always lotsa fun random stoner trivia that prompts further more specific reading) and Randall Carlson (right or wrong he's really fun to listen to). I don't really go for the political ones but the Weinstein bros have some interesting stuff. Sam Harris and Dan Carlin podcasts also sent me on days and weeks of new neat shit to learn about. I would suggest googling "jre -topic you want-" and there are reams of resources.

JP astonishes us with his deep and complex genius. 'It took me 30 years to figure this out. If you have a goal and a path from a clinical perspective, you aim towards something valuable, and you feel good as you get close to the goal. To have a high goal. As you move to the goal you have to get better at things to pursue a goal, from clinical data; you confront the thing you are avoiding, then break it into pieces that you can take on one at a time, something new is information and developing a skill, and there is biological basis for programming new genes, and build new structures like muscles, there is a lot of potential in your genetic code.... [So it took JP 30 years to figure out that if you set a goal and a vision and you try new things you will learn new things? Holy crap. I figured that out in 10 minutes.]

I am another proud female fan! And yes, I have cleaned my room. At 50 years old I know there's a lot of things I don't know. You've got to be prepared to embrace ideas that will enhance your being and those around you. My advice, at 50 is to follow your passion. Do work that doesn't feel like work, because you will work so much harder. And work for yourself. Earn the fruits of your labour, not so that someone else takes it - then gives you a tiny fraction back. As a family, humans are amazing. Complex, fragile, cruel, versatile and awe inspiring. We all need to help each other. In a world of billions of words, his stand out as a call to all who are listening.

Maybe I’ll just have to keep going or maybe there is something else that clicks.

I've said it many times before, so one more time can't hurt. I'm 33 years old high school drop out. I started listening to Jordan Peterson, Ben shapiro, and Steven crowder 4 years ago. I now have my get, my own place to live, and a good job. These men all really did help to change my life. I changed it, but the guidance helped more than anyone will ever know. Some times it's easy to get lost in the media and pop culture. These men all helped me get back to basics and "make my bed" couldn't be more greatful. My deepest wish is to have a conversation with one of these me some day. I'd love to speak about some opposing ideas and see how that goes . Any way thank you for everything!

Same here. While I have awlays been very organized and motivated I felt quite miserable and chaotic in my own mind. I fell apart emotionally daily. After listening to Peterson in one year I became hyper focused, organized and I am now easily fufilling my motherly and wifely duties. I had so much extra time that I enrolled last semester at my states university online and am finishing my degree. How this is possible with the mess I was before I dont know. Mr. Peterson steers them toward a goal to give their life some kind of meaning. The thing is that it works for anyone who is lost and looking for some kind of guidance.

From what I've seen in the dating world (i'm engaged now) but I see a PLETHORA of women who followed the feminist paradigm - Get a career, sleep around, essentially be like men in the pursuit of power... all of them passed their prime age to attract a mate, and now desperately seeking men on match.com or whatever to have children with. The numbers are insane, and the results are horrific for women. Single motherhood is bordering an epidemic. They didn't spend their time wisely finding solid relationships, and now many will be screwed or have to settle way below their potential because time is not on their side. Our culture too busy promoting single moms as "heros" instead of promoting good women, who go to college, find good relationships and work towards being good wives and mothers.

We have equal right’s you’re just looking for something that will allow you to play victim because unless you’re screeching your feminist bullshit in someone’s ear, no one pay’s attention to you. We have every single chance at any given opportunity, both in life in general and professionally, as men do. So please if not because it’s an embarrassing mentality to have, do it for yourself, stop playing victim. Don’t blame your own failures on men. It’s neither cute nor correct, Honey:) Is equality abusing a whole gender/race, even to the point of racism, just because they all ‘act a certain way’? That’s discrimination, not equality. What you’re looking for is superiority and sorry ‘honey’, but we’re not all down to play victims to make one group of people, some which may be lovely people, look bad when in actual fact it’s ‘new age-feminism’ that spreads hate and segregates people.

i was raised in a middle class family and never had any REAL struggles so to speak, but i've had chronic depression and anxiety my entire life and no drive or dreams. after i started following this man, i started making my bed in the mornings, started working out after almost 10 years of inactivity and my doctor telling me im in risk of heart diseases and need to change (currently only 29!). after less than a month i had more muscle built up, was feeling less depressed AND had the self confidence to instantly throw in an icebreaker in a conversation with a girl who, now 1 week later, seems to be the one, even though i dont believe in destiny or "soul mates" listen to what this man has to say, and not what others say about him.. use what you can and consider what parts of it can fit into your life. develop a thirst for knowledge, but also understanding. small things, negative and positive alike, build up over time. face your fears head on, and be your best self TO yourself and the people around you. i doubt he will personally read this, but i thank him for the motivational support he has given me - a stranger on the other side of the planet, and thanking Joe for helping to spread the awareness of him. 10/10

I was so stunned on how he manages, to understand human nature and discribe it so clearly, that it feels like, he is talking to me personally. There were many of those moments, but I really felt it there. Wonderfull human beeing and so missproclaimed. Today I had a situation that I was worried, how it would turn out, but I realley enjoyed it and it made me feel more alive, now that I think about it, while watching this. Again great human beeing, and am thankfull for him speaking out, what others are to afraid to think.

No joke Im a former Marine Commando and have failed at life after the military I didnt know what was wrong with me PTSD depression etc I just didnt know why I was struggling with what people do everyday, I also just wouldn't take any crap and its easier hiring someone more pliable and meek. I fell into drugs HARD after loosing my lady and best friend and my home, I was wanting to die and I started to listen to Jordan Peterson, then I got psychological help with therapy and now my psychologist is guiding me into applying for University to study psychology and become a clinical psychologist, I have also kicked Heroin which was and is really difficult when you dont have anything to live for as far as you can see. I think Psychology will help me understand myself and I will be rewarded from helping others. My psychologist is top notch I really admire him like I do JP, That has inspired me the most, I trusted him and I want to have people listen and to have something valuable to say to them. I hope I do well and I get accepted to University.

I’m very confused as to why anyone would attack or dislike Jordan Peterson. He is very rational, informative, and respectful when discussing topics. How are people getting offended over him discussing scientific facts between men and women.... We ARE different and there’s nothing wrong with that. Admitting we are different doesn’t mean one sex is better or more superior than the other. We each bring unique assets to the table which is WHY it’s good that we’re different...

Oh disagreeable people are more likely to go to jail? No shit. Please read his magnum opus Maps of Meaning. Its the most pretentious thing ive ever read. It works better as a satire than an actual book on...idk what hes going for this book tbh. But please, you be the judge and site any pages where he actually says something of substance. If you dont want to read than look at the diagrams in the book. Theyre hilariously nonsensical. Charlatans like him prey on the weak, thats why his audience has such a type.

Acknowledge that and then start taking steps to improve your life. I believe he was speaking about 12 rules for life rule clean your damn room.
