And a significant percentage of the step dads that showed up try to molest you or beat you, like my step dad. The only respectable male I know is my younger brother. I'm not saying they're all bad, I'm just saying I only have a familial relationship with one man who isn't a total POS.

    Out of curiosity, what were the wrong things that you were looking for? You wouldn't be looking for cruelty as a character trait so presumably you were looking for other things which in some way were related to that?

  • @carmengogeidnas9670

    @carmengogeidnas9670

    7 ай бұрын

    @@CBfrmcardiff of course nobody looks for cruelty, maybe I misspoke because it's more about overlooking warning signs rather than seeking specific traits. Charming, charismatic and motivated are good things, but unfortunately a lot of narcissistic people also possess those qualities. Like a guy that flatters you often but also disrespects your boundaries. You overlook the disrespect because they apologize for it, but you don't realize until later that they were never apologizing in earnest, they were just trying to manipulate and control you, and the best way to do that was act like it was a (your) misunderstanding, or there's things you need to change because obviously you took it the wrong way..

    Theo doesn't get enough credit for being a brilliant interviewer. He not only was keeping up with Jordan intellectually, but lowered Jordan's guard and turned the podcast into a conversation between two buddies with funny banter; rather than an interrogation or just a simple Q&A like Jordan normally has to deal with. They have great chemistry and it seemed like Jordan really enjoyed the conversation and was having fun. I'd love to see these guys have a podcast together once a year or something. In my opinion, Theo interviewed Peterson better than anyone else has. Gang gang.

Every time he’s on JRE, he gets to concept too complicated for my dumb ass. In this podcast, he’s like talking to my drunk dumb ass (not that Theo is dumb as he is smart than he lets on.)

    Not just bashing him but trying to steer the interview. Most interviews I’ve seen, the interviewer already has an agenda. They’re not there to ask questions, hear his opinion and have a conversation. Instead, they ask a question, don’t hear the answer they want and the interviewer talks over him or changes the subject before he can even finish a sentence.

    At 27 I drove up the mountain and pulled myself over drunk after getting a DUI 3 weeks prior. Had a moment I realized if I kept going I was going to die or something was going to happen. I pulled off got out of my car and after asking God what I should do. A HiPo pulled up on my parked parked car. That cop left my car where it was and drove me to jail. From that point I began my journey towards getting sober. 27 is a turning point In many lives because you are 10 years into adulthood and never where we thought we would be. Soul crushing to sit with yourself looking back at what you thought life would be 20 years earlier with child hood nativities and energetic aspirations. I knew alcohol would kill me eventually but I wanted to stop the suffering. I’m gratefully sober by 28 and 36 now. A lot of life has happened since then. Still feeling a bit lost at times but that’s the adventure of life

    Jav carulli Research the chilling effect. He’s been silenced very very minutely, because it hasn’t stopped him. The threat of hitpiece after hitpiece sent the message that he wasn’t welcome speaking. For anyone of less wisdom, prestige, or courage, this probably would have silenced them and you wouldn’t know them. It’s not wise to ignore the efforts even if they didn’t work. And they arguably did work, many people have a grave misinterpretation of him simply because they are leftists and leftist media demonized him. He could be helping even more people if he wasn’t painted in such poor colors by political activists.
