If you ever go to Cuba, go to the museum (forgot name) of all the CIA assassination plots against Fidel. Plots got super intricate and creative - poisoning cigars, trying to harpoon him as he was snorkeling, etc. After I went through, our Cuba translator/guide joked, "see how many times you tried to take out Fidel? We only needed 1 time to take out JFK!" No idea if true, but still hilarious.

Sadly, yes some are blinded by the revolution and still stand behind his actions, but NOBODY IS HAPPY IN CUBA. No electricity, no air conditioning, no toilet paper, you get a dollar a day if your lucky enough. Other places are poor and have cartels and stuff, but they are not under the oppression of an entire government regulating their every move. I am grateful to be in the states.. I hope to someday make a difference for my people in Cuba

The way I heard it Castro never declared for communism until at least 6 months after the revolution, maybe longer. If the US had recognized him he would have come right into the American camp. But they wouldn't. Because Castro took back a lot of land stolen by American companies and they pressured the president and congress not to. So in desperation he turned to Russia for help.

IRONY isn't a "weird coincidence". A "weird coincidence" is a "weird coincidence" IRONY is when the opposite of a perceived outcome occurs. If a diabetic drives to the pharmacy to get insulin to save his life and is hit and killed by a truck carrying sugar. That is a poetic coincidence. If the truck was carrying Insulin, that would be IRONY.

60 percent of Americans have 500$or less for emergency. Do we have the time to worry about the CIA and its doings? Eh.... kinda, but the time/effort to really get to the bottom of it all.... We're becoming restless... and 60 percent is the majority.

Most people tend to forget that the Bay of Pigs was planned by the Eisenhower administration, but to be fair the Kennedy administration canceled the air support for the mission. There were suppose to be P-38's flying out of Mexico or Central America providing air cover.

It's not that surprising that Fidel was 'running shit' just 90 miles away from Florida, or that he survived so many assassination attempts. Cuba was a vital asset to the Soviet Union. Cuban intelligence at the time was ran by the Soviets, though it had some autonomy in domestic affairs but almost none at all when it came to external affairs like operations in the USA or Latin America. Cuban intelligence supplied and trained domestic terror groups like the Weathermen/Weathermen underground. People that flocked to those types of groups thought that Cuba was the actual front for a socialist revolution, and the majority of them didn't know until much later that Soviets had them on a leash. Most of the major riots during the civil rights movement were caused by joint Cuban/Soviet agitprop. This is all pretty well documented, but people seem to ignore it.

The best theory I’ve heard about the assassination of JFK was that Lee Harvey made the first shot that penetrated Kennedy’s shoulder. The second shot, however, came from a Secret Service agent George Hickey riding in th rear escort vehicle. After LHO’s shot, one agent grabbed an M-14 (as you’d expect they’d react). However the safety was off and it accidentally discharged with the gun pointing forward and in a slight upward direction. He was also standing on the left side of the vehicle too. This is why video of the limo shows JFK slump forward from the first shot but then jerk sharply up and to the right from the 2nd that hit his head. That fatal wound was from a completely different angle than from where LHO was. The bullet that made the head wound was obviously a bigger caliber too as the autopsy doctor mentioned. LHO’s Carcano rifle. The documentary is “JFK: The Smoking Gun” on Netflix.

@mr fantastic The idea there was a second rifle recovered is hilarious. Why would they leave behind two rifles to be found? Did they *want* this "conspiracy" to be immediately found out? There is no evidence of any second rifle. How the heck do you cover that up, anyway? How do you approach scores of police and persuade them to obey illegal orders to withhold and falsify evidence (thus confirming to each one of them a conspiracy exists) and make themselves all accessories to murder and treason. Oh, and it's Depository, not "library," Grasshopper.
