They probably do tbh I've always had the feeling they'd probably have a good time doing shots and smoking a blunt together and the shit talk they've had leading up to and during their fights is all just due to their competitiveness and boosting sales.

Let Connor get a fight with Kevin Lee, and let Tony and Kabib fight for the title. Lee is the perfect fight for Connor to prove he can fight a wrestler and would be a good benchmark to see if he’s ready to attempt Kabib and or Tony.

Except Kevin Lee is every bit as physically strong or stronger than Khabib. Maybe not as technical with his wrestling as Khabib is but honestly Lee is an awful match up for Conor may as well just give him the Khabib rematch if you want to give him Lee it'd be almost the same exact fight except Lee has a longer reach and faster hands than Khabib.

Johnny Blaze i agree I’ve always felt Kevin lee was kahbibs kryptonite his stricking is phenomenal and his ground game is crazy good I mean he dominated tony for almost 3 straight round until a last min clutch submission due to fatigue that could be blamed on his staph infection so idk I think in the near future either tony or Kevin lee will have that belt if Conor can get back to his old self back at a 100% then maybe he could sleep lee cuz he doesn’t have the best of chins shown from Al and barboza but as of now no I don’t think Conor can take lee he’d need at least a year to get back to his old ways

This was very soothing. I was waiting for Joe Rogan to do this interview since the fight because it really changed the way I felt. I like Conner because he is so entertaining and funny. I believe that there are better fighters but he still try’s always and never gives up. Khabib did a wonderful job and it makes you wonder could Conner beat him. Also, would everyone feel comfortable with khabib finishing his career undefeated? IS IT ENOUGH? Because I still think he needs to prove himself. A rematch against a better prepared Conner. Or a match again tony Ferguson👍🏻 if he beats both of them, then I’d feel comfortable saying he is the best. Definitely needs to fight tony because it would be a perfect matchup.

Conor, when he is doing his best to be heavy weighs 169 as you can see in his fight against Nate, when he looked quite fucking big. People like Khabib, Eddie, Lee have said themselves, posted pictures and other people confirmed that they walk around at 185-190. Usually one weight class equals 10 pounds differece, 135,145,155 etc. As you can see this is a 20 pounds difference. So technically just saying they are different weight classes is an understatement.

Conor is stuck between a rock and a hard place. If he fights Khabib again and loses his reputation is unrepairable, however if he goes for the trilogy fight with Nate and loses his reputation will be equally devastated after losing a truly pivotal to his biggest most significant rival, losing twice in a row would ruin his image forever. Whatever he does, the smartest thing to do would be to take a smaller scale fight such as Kevin Lee or Max Holloway. This would allow him to attempt to outclass a significantly less tricky opponent than Khabib.

The next big card for the 155lb division is by far and away tony vs khabib main event, co main event conor vs nate. It makes to much sense not to do it. Number one it helps the UFC build up tony and khabib as stars (in the mainstream), number two the rubber match gets settled. Let's say khabib wins that hypothetically speaking; at that point he has had two huge PPVs that did well over a 1.5 million buys. He is well known in the media and he will for sure sell PPVs by himself. You put him vs GSP who as of last year was a 900,000+ PPV draw. The UFC can have a huge PPV without Conor which is always good for business and for fight fans. Then the next Card can be Tony v Conor as a main event (if Conor beats nate) that sets up a rematch of either Conor vs Khabib or tony vs khabib (because of the hypothetical that khabib beat tony in the first match) regardless UFC has potential to (in terms of PPV buys and expanding popularity) have huge cards over and over with Jon Jones coming back and DC and Derrick lewis kinda getting some shine. Last night really captivated the sporting world in a way we haven't seen before from strictly MMA.
