It breaks my heart that so few will know how great his David Hartman impression is!! Duuuuhh Good Morning!
My parents had this VHS and my 10 year old self thought this was the funniest shit ever. The Tony Di Nono song still plays in my head til this day

Tony DiNono has been stuck in my head for 40 years!!!
Jan Hooks was such a hotty back then
Im in 2 bands, a metal band and an 80's 90's cover band....i was actually LISTENING to Sanatra earlier tonight, then i see THIS!!! PRICELESS😂
My nephew introduced this to me on tape in the Bahamas, and lost a great deal of blood to the head laughing so much.
Cheers, Retro. Thanks for posting this.
Joe Piscopo has a really great singing voice, particularly when emulating the classic singers like Frank Sinatra and the 50s. What a treat to find the Jerry Lewis Thriller, now I know I'm not crazy since I saw it 35 years ago at 5 years old and loved it.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
Off to a slow start...
So, if you combine Sinatra with metal, you get Billy Idol. I can see it.
Joe Piscopo was the best thing to come out of Saturday Night Liive. He's the best.
That Jerry Lewis schtick was hilarious
9:15 Jan Hooks.....pre Joining the cast in 1986. Clearly this was taped at Carney's on Sunset. Still there. Still great burgers
It's kind of like if Tom Waits and Albert Brooks did a variety sketch comedy special or something. I don't know how I'd never seen this before. So much more experimental than I expected. Weirder, too. Joe Piscopo probably should've had a bigger career than he ended up with.

Jerry lewis thrill bit was just weird, but in a good way.
Wow.
I took the watch this entire HBO special challenge
I almost pissed my pants from laughing when I saw your Jerry Lewis Thriller bit! Joe your killing me! I just saw you yesterday on Fox News and the comparison of your Jerry Lewis impression with your arms flailing to Elizabeth Warren almost knocked me off my chair! You even had Neil Cavuto losing it. Thanks for all the years of laughter, and greetings and God speed from another Jersey City boy. I got to meet Jerry Lewis in New York City years ago. He was such nice guy and a cool cat. I still watch his movies with my 8 year old son. And my son laughs harder than me! RIP Jerry. And RIP the beautiful Jan Hooks. I’m sure their both ripping up heaven right now. kzread.info/dash/bejne/mnacktWqo62TYpM.html
It wasn't hilarious but very unique and entertaining. Joe wasn't the best comedian but he's creative, interesting, well spoken and had a face for television. Also if HBO aired it it's a pretty good chance it's gonna be something good
He was good doing impressions for a paisan...
Not sure what happened to Joe's career? Guess he must've POd somebody early on, they squashed him. He had it all going on back than. Life is a gamble.

He was never that great.
Joe Piscopo was great on SNL .. i dare say he was funnier than Eddie Murphy at times and they worked well together ..I wonder why they didn't do films together . 48 hours with Eddie and Joe would have been interesting ...He should have been a mega star because like i mentioned earlier the man was a comedy great ....

Joe tried to piggyback on Eddie's heat which led to a falling out between the two of them.
No
Mannnnn, what a hack
